I have not noticed any difference in the stat sheets and as far as i can see (visuals only) the Mk1 “Grant” have some skirts, where the M3 Lee dont… but the M3 Lee is under the Mk1 “Grant” so im a bit confused.
Is the Mk1 “Grant” or M3 Lee better?
I think the Lee has an extra MG, being in the extra lil’ mg turret on top of the 37mm
Lend lease is again better than regular USA tech tree because reasons.
Lee has another functional lmg on it. The added radio suit/commander turret of the Grant… does nothing.
Lee has 2 MG’s and is very slightly faster, but it has less 75 HE ammo

i’d go for the grant just because the squad you unlock with it, it’s bri’sh.
I use both, the premium Lee on Moscow, very good, extra mg is very nice, can fre both 75mm and 37m turret gun can be fired in commander seat, which is very useful and allows you to fire HE and AP at same time.
The Grant is my low tier BR2 Allies tank of choice, it was also used in other Pacific and Tunisia, so my HA head is happy, this was the better tank realistically, as mentioned radio in back of turret , made it more effective strategically. The guns are identical (exception is mg removed above turret) I think armour is slightly better on Grant too.
Only issue I have with the Grant, the commander on ps5 cannot fire main gun from commander seat (on PC Grant commander can fire both), logged on CBR.
Soviet BR1-2 tanks are quite scarce, excluding the BT7-A with the cannon
76-F32 premium given away at an event, which lacks armor, but has a BR4 cannon. The Lee in Moscow was fabulous, and above all clearly superior as a howitzer compared to the T50 and T28E. However, no Allied or Japanese tank reaches the perfection of the Panzer III N
Ever tried the Premium Panzer III M? That this has good enough armor to fight off Jumbos.
I don’t play Western Allies very often but from what i’ve seen from multiple tank fights against it the Grant is a really strong tank and it has a very good armor that it is difficult to penetrate and it’s gun can oneshot even the Panzer 4 G 80mm Hull Armor aso i would choose to use the Grant if i had to play in Tier 2
Great tank, but sadly almost useless against infantry. The Panzer 3 N, if placed well, can still destroy almost any BR2 tank, excluding Lee and Grant where it is very difficult.
tanks employing US pattern turrets were called "Lee ", named after Confederate general Robert E. Lee, while those with British pattern turrets were known as "Grant ", named after Union general Ulysses S. Grant.

its HE is surprisingly effective against infantry for its caliber, obviously not comparable to the short 7.5, but in my book potent enough
