Is the foliage exploit still a problem?

In WT for example people can modify their setting files to make the flora/objects dissapear entirely, which ends in ppl just getting a really unfair advantage (they basically change how far the game is supposed to render things), is the same thing happening in Enlisted ? I’ve been getting killed by ppl just hitting clean shots even when my whole body was hidden behind some huge plants ,sometimes i’ve been getting shoot at when hiding behind sandbags even tho there was no way a person would’ve known i was hiding behind those, it wasn’t even that they could hear me and shot after a couple seconds they just shoot from across the map through trees and bushes without a care in the world, there’s more of this type of kills in “lone fighter” mode than “squads” too. I get that there are a lot of people and therefore there’s the “SOMEONE might have seen you” but it’s not a very compelling point when a single person just “manages to spot” you and your teammates when they’re crawling behind world objects especially when there’s a firefight going on and that person magically “catches a glimpse” of you.

yeah it is unfortunately and there is no fix for this or any penalty for those who use it

There are still bots in LF that make up the matchmaker numbers, so it could be possible that it has been an AI.

Are you playing on Normandy? If yes then try Moscow, it has much less clutter and vegetation + overall larger distances of the fight. Makes it less possible for bots or console players to aimbot you.

There is no ULQ in Enlisted. Even on minimal settings all the plants are there. You are most likely killed by AI

When installing the game I was so afraid that it will be the same shajt as in WarThunder. BUT, I was also so positively surprised when I saw that you could not meddle with graphics and I fully support this.

Fun note, my young nephew installed the game and called me half an hour after. He raged because he couldn’t find the settings for minimum graphics.
Then I seen how they play CS and that Battle Royale… lowest possible resolution, minimal graphics. :man_facepalming:

Yeah… That’s what happens when you aim into competitive market - they don’t care about beautiful graphics and atmosphere. Hopefully Enlisted will never go that way. It’s just too beautiful to destroy it with ULQ settings.

Yeah, agree. My PC is 10 years old (Processor, Motherboard and RAM), GPU is new, I run it with no problems. So any arguments for ULQ are not valid.

Back then when I was a kiddo, we played games on Intel 80386 and Commodore 64 and imagined how it will be in future. Then new kids and ULQ happens :joy:

I haven’t seen a ULQ setting; however, it is probably in the settings file. I personally have been playing SQUADS as I find the disposable soldier and the Squad play style drastically minimizes the impact of people doing these things. I no longer feel the necessity of matching them either…

SQUADS 4 LIFE!

ULQ graphics is not a thing in enlisted. However, DLSS renders ghost shadows through bushes of moving soldiers, giving at least some indication of where people are.

I actually prefer the Lone Wolf mode since the AI bots usually get in my way!
