i have upgraded one and it struggle to gain altitude and speed while allied counterpart not only is faster but starts already in the air ready to shot rockets.
by the time you reach the targed allied planes have already bombed it twice
please improve the performance because now it cannot compare even with one tier lower allied counterparts

I tried taking off with Dauntless from Tunisia now in pacific and it just went into the water after the aircraft carrier ended.
Never had this issue before the merge.
all aircraft engine power is nerfed in this game so that could be it
Nerfed so much that it fails to take off
You be lucky if didn’t hit the water.
And allies plane having air spawn
favoritism is fun for darkflow
well yeah army aircraft doesn’t usually take off of a carrier especially with how nerfed aircraft’s engines are though i wonder if the carriers have enough take off space for the IJA aircraft to use properly

ok though some others have kindly informed me that IJA aircraft don’t use the carriers so there is consistency there too bad japan only has 1 army plane in the TT
The Suisei is a carrier based dive bomber.
Which was used from both land base and aircraft carrier. Not specifically an IJA aircraft.
ki-61 is the IJA aircraft, judies was used by the IJN so the judy got Carrier spawn like the rest of the IJN aircraft, also the USN aircraft gets carrier spawn while it looks like USAAF and RAF don’t with the USN aircraft occuping no higher than br 3
Giving D4Y1 more take off speed and air spawn would fix the issues

i am fine with more take off speed (or at least getting a speed boost while on the carrier) but air spawn shouldn’t be given unless you are ready to give it to the dauntless as that also can’t take off UNLESS you use take off flaps
It is very hard to get off the boat as it barely makes it you gotta have takeoff flaps or it will crash.
It’s a very slow aircraft over all.
Why are you comparing it with the SBD?
