This feature was mentioned in the roadmap dated July 5, 2024
I am about to spend all my soldier gold orders on British and Italian soldiers instead of actualy useful ones, it would be a shame if this feature was added right after I do that.

I heard this feature will arrive shortly after the new kick in the nuts attack button.

Btw. Itâs quite bizarre that you put a date on there. To make it look like a lot of time has passed. As if you didnât know DF.
It took them a year to add the tank to the game since it was announced. It is now taking them over a year to add customization to the APC, they claim to be working hard on.
So if we take it in that context. Really not much time has passed yet.

If I had to guess, it will be featured in the next minor update, possibly in the next month.
Lets prey that they also adjust customization prices.
but do keep in mind that these âpromisesâ were added later (road map was updated at some point)

All I can say is that there have been discussions between CMs and developers about this precise feature listed on the roadmap recently, as well as about other related things (soldier names, nationality, etc).
Rest assured itâs still on the roadmap and nothing has changed in this regard!

I need a British sniper whom I would trust a scoped Lee Enfield, and he canât have a yankee accent.
But currently there is absolutely no way to get a British sniper in the game.
Providing ânewsâ on all topics is generally difficult as it depends on a lot of things, and there may be initial plans to release X thing on Y update, but these plans can change based on new critical bugs, or if thereâs a sudden new more important issue to address. I have personally been speaking with some developers about this, but I can only say soon⢠for now! 
If itâs on the roadmap, itâs still planned, as these are essentially promises made to the playerbase. As for when they may be, I am afraid I canât comment yet. Hope thatâs OK!
