So I just got a vehicle gold order and I want to spend it.
Because of devs being dicks this is my only chance to own a stug without paying 60$. So I wonder if it’s worth it.
It’s in the stalingrad but since campaigns are going away it’s not a big deal.
If it’s not good, what elsedo you propose? PzIII variants, skins with dope 2m wide flag and JU87 variants get extra points.
the stug, in it’s current state ( Snipergrad ) ain’t worthed.
too low profile to engage with the enemy ( due to rubbles, dead tanks, walls, trenches etc in your way ), no turret and no mg.
with that being said, i can see it become usefull in the big updates, as you will not be tied to fight russians only in SG.
the gray camo is cool though.
and if i’m not mistaken, @gastanofrizzi does the bug of weapons also work on vehicles if you do not have the access?
which i believe they will become available for everyone after the big merge so. you can save some bucks there.
skins are alright. but they are still a PZ III.
Unless it’s the PZ III J ( but… didn’t that one expired already from moscow? ) anyway, the J variant it’s perhaps the only good panzer III.
if you are referring to the panzer IV G from tunisa with the german flag on top, i’d say yes to it.
because it’s unique.
though, just like i was getting to the JU 87 and other planes, those only have a winter camo / desert.
hope we can change their camo in the future.

Stug is fine, as for no mg, personal weapon works just fine, use binocs and kill other tanks from distance. Can use HE and pen and kill KV1s.
I have stug on Normandy and Moscow, they are very effective with low profile, good maneuverability is key.

I use the StuG in Normandy. Overall - it is just a mobile anti-tank gun and nothing more.
The same AT gun that can build an engineer. Maybe somewhat stronger, but the principle is the same.
StuG is fun to use but requires a big open map to be effective.
In Normandy there are few that type of the maps, and Stalingrad is even worse.
