The A5M4 is quick plane but it is so hard to get into combat airspace not set up any kind of run as it is with just two 7.7 MM gun run to help my team control the ground…I cant Pen GMC-13 unless i get a top shot on a straight run and thats if I dont get blown out of the sky as I have to make a low pass. The plane was historically capable of having a compliment of two 30KG type 99 HE bombs. It would help the grind on the plane and help me level the Japanese campaign xp. I can barely stay up in the air having to compete with the better AA gun from the US engineers. The mounted .30 and .50 from the us engineers. The GMC-13 ripping me to shreds about 1000M out. Peppering the dauntless till I run out of ammo and get shot down by the gunner. Even the buffalo F2a has 4 50s and two 100lb bombs. The bombs would help at least put down some kills as I get shot to pieces out of the sky.
Agreed, the A5M4 is probably the most useless plane in the Japanese arsenal at the moment and that’s even behind the seaplane we start with.

I never understood why DF gave the A5M4 to the Japanese faction instead of the Ki-43, it would be more fitting to Guadalcanal and it could carry bombs(50kg or 100kg) and it has only 2 lmgs as its main armament plus is more iconic than ‘Claude’
I enjoy the game quite well. I am just one of those casuals that dont play everyday and its hard to xp quickly with the limited squads I have at my disposal specially when I am up against premium Sub machine gun squads. I like to use the vehicles as well to help balance out the map when I can, trying to be a team player. Its not asking much to even compliment the plane with such a basic load. I like to complete my squad upgrade trees as well, a bit of a completionist.
I’m sure I wont look back once I get the zero lol. But I’m a casual player and don’t grind that much in the game and it takes forever to level for me sometimes specially when my team is full of bots and the US has premium submachine gun squads all over the place.
The Pacific Marine Corps is too strong, they were able to unlock a large number of powerful weapons in the early stages
Agreed. Not only that but the premiums do not help as well. They make it so much harder… Japan has premium squads also. But im not able to drop that kind of cash for a squad.
