I played with it for a while, and from my experience panzerfaust 60 is far, far better than new 43 Ofenrohr. Panzerfaust can easily pen even Jumbo’s front, meanwhile Ofenrohr can’t. Also Panzerfaust’s shell is far more predictable and reliable, meanwhile the Ofenrohr’s god where knows it decides to land. I guess range could compete, but I never had issues sniping tanks with Panzerfaust.
Is there anything I’m missing or using it wrong?

The ofenrohr as far i see has less explosion area than panzerfaust but bot are good
I could barely take out Sherman with that thing, could be massive skill issue, but no difficulties with Panzerfaust whatsoever
Has Less explosion area, so need a better aim for do the job, personally i like him because i can kill the turret more fast

i had the same thought to be honest.
but then i noticed that the new AT it’s better than the panzerfaust at distance.
also easier to use from the distance as the drop off it’s longer than the panzerfaust.
although… yeah, considering normandy as a whole, the panzerfaust is more convenient due to map sizes. i rarely need the “panzershrek”.
even though it’s satisfy to kill things at greater distance.
but, this new at comes with a rather stylish mask and gloves.
you know, free drip

reload speed with the new AT is insane compared to faust.

The faust dont reload, simply a new faust magically spawn in your hand

Ofenrohr is good at long range its just need some practice to get used to where to shoot at especially Shermans.
Honestly prefer the Panzerfaust 100 but that’s only in Berlin.

yes, its overall worse than the P60
The panzerschreck is actually stronger than the panzerfaust in real life so it’s bugged because lazy devs.
Also Ofenrohr means stove pipe. Which is weird because the actual panzerschreck was already in use during Normandy and not only the early version, aka stove pipe.

The Panzerfaust seems to have no minimum arming distance while the new launchers have a pretty long minimum arming distance. It’s a bit annoying but Dynamite packs do exist for close range work so you can work around this limitation.
taken yesterday. out of 6 tanks on that picture, have gotten 4 tanks and 2 kills were stolen from me… then someone sniped my AT gunner… ofenrohr is good…

I guess it exists to inflate campaign levels. Afaik the devs once mentioned that we could get a Bazooka with phosphor.
You can farm infantry better with the Ofenrohr ./ssss
I don’t normally use anti tank weapons on infantry…
But that sounds fun now that you tell me about it.

Ofenrohr and M9 are super good for that. I think the Panzerfaust 100 can do it too. I think it’s the stuff with the most thrust but lowest pen.
