Is every BR V match like this?

I have now surpassed the 20 deaths per match. I seriously hope not all BR V matches are like this. I recently just unlocked the FG 42 (type I), and I have all my squads decked out with them (6-man engineer, 9-man infantry, 5-man infantry) and they still die within 5 seconds.

And I also got 2x the zone defence kills that the others in my team got. Turns out not knowing how to defend an objective is not endemic to Allies players - it’s contagious.

The FG 42 type I sucks, but the type II is great, you will love it and kill more

BRV is much faster paced compared to other tiers. You have to tap into the gamer zone because mistakes cost you more than they did on low tier

Also I recommend learning bot management. Whiffing gunfights or getting shot at first happens all the time and not having to lose your squad as it happens saves you a lot of deaths. Just switch to manual commands and camp them before the area you want to push or clear out

That’s probably my issue. I use group commands instead of manual commands. Do you know if setting them on passive or aggressive increases their survivability? I know it didn’t matter much in lower tiers.

Reason i dont play BR5 Is because of Too Much Automatic fire.

For me the current maps cannot accommodate BR5 gameplays, its too suffocating

They need to make a new map for BR5.

Squad Commands is Better when ur maneuvering or rushing. U double tap the move order the bots will sprint towards the move order ur given.

Individual Commands is better when u find a good spot and traffic and manually place them on a line facing the targets.

Tru, squad order is good for Ordering ur bots to rush with u or around u and individual orders is good for encounter

It is due to the fact that everyone just cycles vehicles and do nothing but sling out HE projectiles at the enemy. Automatic gunfire can also be really annoying at times, but it’s mostly down to tank and plane spam. Nearly every BR5 player has a slot roster of at least 2 tanks and 1 plane so you’re always at the risk of a massive kaboom. Seriously, slots are stupid af and unhealthy to the meta.

Your team had a mean ace pilot tho. Was there lots of bomber formations called by the enemy?

I had I think 24 or 25 once in a level five match, most dying due to artillery and grey zone tanks,. Yup, I spent ten minutes playing yelling every four letter word I knew. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

They mostly are. And are filled with some sweaty basement players

BR5 has been a nightmare lately (like the whole Enlisted, and it’s getting worse and worse). Sometimes I wonder: Am I playing BR1 or BR5? The only thing I can manage is building rally points and deploying resources.

The only working feature in Enlisted is “desertion.”

if youre flanking I would use passive so they wont stop randomly when a random bullet flys by them and when you get to your desired spot turn them on aggressive so if a poor soul walks near them they would melee them to death. Trying to keep bots alive in br5 is pointless since they would end up doing something dumb like walk 20m from where you commanded them to stay or if youre lucky the path finding will send them on their own missions. if you really want them to live longer camp with your bots near points if youre attacking and if youre defending send them as far back as you can or in a area where bombs wont hurt them but keep in mind they will start walking towards you if you go 50m from them

west airfield is almost never winnable in a defender side if they manage to get passed the first 3 points since most of the points can be bombed into the dirt but from the looks of it you really got unlucky with the MM because ive never seen that many allies players with name decorators when I play br5 allies lol

BR5 matches are always horrible especially on USSR/USA team. You play with mindless beasts that can’t do anything but rush point in a straight line like cod2 npcs but without option of seeking cover

Only the biggest scumbags are playing BR5. They love sitting on top of a building fortified with 15 mines. I just had such two horrible matches. Mines everywhere and just tanks + fg42/stg44 spammers everywhere shooting from above you. This is pure hell.

Ouch, that hurts man. I mean it’s true, but it still hurts

I have something of a scumbag inside of me that’s why i’m always coming back to play BR5 for a few matches and they i need go back to BR2-3 to calm my nerves and not to feel as awful about myself abusing most op stuff possible or else you won’t be able to win, there are no fun involved just tryharding 24/7.

Yeah the Top 2 kept cycling event weapons like the Stinger. We had no hope when they just laid down and let it rip. They should realistically cap it at 100 rounds like it was in real life.

BR V actually just feels skilless just spamming full auto weapons. Like how does an Assaulter or MG squad, which is super powerful in BR II/III, just become useless?

I wish they came up with a new class to limit full auto rifles. Something similar to an MG squad, where only 3 in a 7 man squad (or maybe 5 in a 9 man squad) can wield select fires. That way it takes a lot more skill on what weapon to use for what scenario, instead of dumping mags left right and centre.

Plus, it removes the massive barrier between BR IV and BR V.
