Irish Revolutionary Period

Why I believe having this in the mod should be added

Many people tend to completely underestimate just how big this conflict was just because it was considered an illegitimate state, this conflict consisted of several major battles between Ireland in England between 1912-1923 an one of the major known ones is the “Easter Rising” which is where the “Foggy Dew” entry song from Connor McGregor come from, considering that irish ancestry is very numerous in the world and just as influential as germany and england, doing this would make Enlisted the first game studio to cover an FPS over this time period which would have an INSANELY large amount of content to cover.

The Easter Rising for example involve 16,000 british troops versus around 4-5k irish troops it wasn’t just minor uprising they had serious logistics, numbers involved, to a point where artillery planes etc were hauled in, having this in the game would actually boost monetary stuff as well as that’s also important for game studios which is understandable, I feel people would actually buy this out of interest and the scenery of ireland especially is beautiful, the typical topics such as stalingrad, berlin, etc have been saturated in the world war 2 community to a point where so many game studios have covered it that others companies such as Darkflow that want to compete wouldn’t stick out much so doing something like the Irish Revolutionary Period would SERIOUSLY boost popularity and interest in the game I have a good feeling about this.

People tend to ignore it because Britain considered it illegitimate back then as a state it was part of how they got their freedom as a republic.

There’s a problem.

Nobody cares about it except *nglos and irish. So lack of popularity.

it is ww1 era, enlisted is ww2 era game. also if you want to make mod for this game, tools are available. devs arent obligated to add every minor conflict in 20th century just cause someone wants that. they have enough work to be done without that.

What I like from Ireland is Guinness, and cereals with an Irish inspired leprechaun on the box.

But that bloody sunday conflict… meh 🤷

This is WW2 game, not early 20th century conflict game…

Yeah…
Perhaps it was very important incident among European people like a world war, but I think it’s not suitable for WW2 shooting game
