The more i play this Campaign i notice Tanks viability is probably the worst out of all Campaigns, theres buildings everywhere, so much cover for Infantry to hide and sneak around. Some capture points at the start is okay for Tanks, but afterwards it becomes unplayable. Since most of the Fights happen inside the building, same with Capture points, so tank’s usefulness wears out and the whole campaign resolves around CQC combat

Is it just me or will they add some open maps too?

Some maps if you play as Tank you are actually hurting the team

and we have the Panzerfaust on here on Berlin that unlocks at low level, but not on Normandy, i hope the Germans get it one day on Normandy instead of the Flaregun. The Flaregun in comparison is so much worst than the PIAT and Panzerfaust

The tanks in battle of berlin are supported by infantery because the city have to many place for an sneack attack behind them in the game the situation has to be the same but we know how ended

Yeah on this map if you play as Tank the chance of you getting killed by Infantry is insanely high, since you can only go forward and backward, if they sneak out of cover and throw some nades there really isnt much you can do. I heard Soviets tanks later on are immune to explosive or at least take 3-4 shots? I can’t tell right now since im low level so i cant use it yet, starter one is good for Soviet. German gets the Panzer IV J which was the worst tank in Normandy

T-34-85 are bugged from war thunder have the hatch invulnerable from any attck and their armor even in weak spot need 3-4 shoot
The panzer j is a weak version of panzer 4 h in war end crippled german war machine dawngrade their equipment for accelerate production

Shoot the turret ring and it’s usually a one shot kill

ALso if you’re side on with a panzerfaust shoot the back of the turret since there’s a big rack of ammo there

I dont want to make a new thread but does any of you know if my friends who hasnt bought Berlin, if they play with me will they keep their progress after its out?

People who haven’t bought into Berlin have progression disabled
They’re stuck with the basic bitch squads

Nice to know now but a little nerf on the hatch is needed for balance its to overpaowered aganaist panzer 4 j

I was unaware they fixed the glaring weakness with the T-34-76’s drivers hatch since that one is the same thickness as the hull (45mm)

Though even in WT it should go through which is where the tank modeling comes from.

But Panzer IV H is not even in use at berlin the german have only half completed tanks , totaly remove tanks at berlin maybe is the best course of action, the battle of berlin is a mainly infantry battle

No it isn’t, the 85mm on the T-34-85 early is equal to the 75mm on the Pz 4H…

The only thing better about the 85 is the filler, and not by too much.
75 one shots the T-34 left and right with good shot placement

yeah they are stuck and cant change equip or get the new squads from campaign, but will their progress wipe?

There is nothing to be wiped. People without progression in Berlin can play only as starter squads without possibility to change anything in them and they will start with them as soon as that campaign will be unlocked for everyone.
