In the invasion game mode, there should be a cooldown on taking the next objective every time the attacking team takes an objective point. The attacking team should be halted and not allowed to advance for a short period of time to allow the defending team time to recoup, regroup, and build defenses. Another improvement would be at the beginning of the game allowing the defending team to spawn in first with a time limit before the attacking team spawns. So that they can set up defenses before the attacking team starts their attack.
All of this to allow for the game to be more balanced so that the defending team has less of a chance to be steamrolled and for the game to not be won in 5 minutes which is never fun for both sides… I believe this would help a lot in terms of balancing so that game can be more even. but there is more to consider like during the cooldown deaths and kills aren’t counted towards deducting tickets so it doesn’t give an unfair advantage to the defending team.
Maybe ask your team to stop defending the previous objective since they weren’t capable enough to defend it in the first place. That’s the most case scenario why defending team is losing the next objective so fast.
I actually somewhat agree with this. I don’t think the issue is my team staying at the previous point, I think it’s the fact that organized opponents can basically walk all the way to the next one and drop a rally point before defenders even move in.
I don’t think it should be a long delay, but 30s or so to allow the last defenders to die off might be good to avoid the worst rush. Alternatively, faster gray zones. It’s better to die in fog & respawn on point, than run a million km.
One exp pack and poof all gone defenses are a joke. Normandy has this bad I used to place barbed wire but it does almost nothing because one of two things happens instant expo pack or dumb teammates.
