I have been enjoying the intense dogfights and vehicle combat in Enlisted, but I’ve noticed a few aspects of the game that could be improved , particularly in air battles
1. Airfields with Repair and AA Capabilities
In the Japan vs. US campaigns, carrier-based aircraft have the option to land and repair, which adds a strategic element to air combat. However, in the Germany vs. US and Germany vs. USSR campaigns, there are no such airfields available for planes to repair and rejoin the fight.
Introduce airfields with repair capabilities for the Germany vs. US and Germany vs. USSR campaigns. These airfields could be equipped with anti-air (AA) defenses to protect against enemy aircraft, same like carrier (btw how tf carrier manage to shoot accurate its goddamn 127mm naval guns at my flying plane )
Pilots who manage to maneuver out of a dogfight and land for repairs should be rewarded for their skill and strategy.
If implementing airfields isn’t feasible for balance reasons, then there should be an alternative way to avoid giving away plane kills to the enemy. For example, if a player manages to safely land their damaged plane on the ground, that plane should not count as a kill for the enemy.
This would also give purpose to the landing gear and flaps in the game and add an incentive to land rather than crash.
2. Adjustment to Kill Credits for Damaged Planes and Vehicles
Currently, if an enemy hits your plane with random shots (whether from a rifle, submachine gun, or MG) and your plane eventually crashes during a strafing run or bombing, the enemy receives credit for the kill, even if the damage caused was negligible.
Kill credits should be more accurately attributed based on the actual damage caused. If a plane is hit but remains operational, and then crashes due to pilot error or an unrelated incident, the kill should not be awarded to the player who dealt minor damage. The same logic should apply to vehicles like APCs. If a player shoots at an APC but causes no significant damage, they should not be credited with an APC kill if the vehicle is later destroyed due to unrelated circumstances.
These adjustments would create a fairer and more rewarding experience for players who skillfully avoid or survive attacks.
