Intrenching tool

literally how it sounds just a shovel maybe the engineer would have it
functions:
1-dig holes in soft ground
2-maybe it can be used as a melee

they already tested this mechanic in the modern conflict event and it was pretty cool personally i think it will add a lot to the game

It is literally a thing already in Tunisia.

Aaand no one uses it. Ever.

As a Melee weapon the shovel is too slow and has such a short range that makes it unusable. As a digging tool the capture points are usually inside buildings, so you don’t really need to build trenches or dig foxholes. Either they put the point in the middle of the desert and give us time to build defences or it will continue to be a useless feature

oh i didnt know i fucking hate the tunisian campagin thank u for telling me

Well it’s not going to be a Tunisia only equipment soon.

You mean in game or in real life? No matter because in both situations is better than knife;]

Why, I love it?

Most of the others are way to cluttered and the maps are very small for my tastes

Historically in Stalingrad the Spade was often used as a close Combate weapon, they were sharpened the handle shortened and used to great effect, apparently you take of a man’s head with one pretty easily if you came up under the chin.

Other than that specific campaign/battle I have not read of them being used though in that role to any extant

you can use them as a melee weapon ingame , i have gotten a shovel kill before, just not recommended as they deal less damage and swings slowly

It’s funny because you just shovel them to death, no proper swing animation
