This game is ment to be one.

It’s like complaining that sniper is bad at CQC so we have to give him SMG. If you take wrong tools to wrong job it’s your fault, don’t expect the game to compensate for your mistakes.

Devs said something like: “it was present in europe in that year so it’s enough for us to justify its presence.”
I don’t agree with that so don’t argue with me, argue with devs.

I dont think the devs has ever described the which amount of “historical accuracy” theyr going to implement. And as this game currently is and has been by far more arcade game than anykind of HC historical accurated simulator. Id say no. Its not.

Due to asymmetrical balance the germans have the superior LMGs and thats the “strenght” of german faction. So yea, so far this seems more like nerf Germany topic rather than actually being intrested of historical accuracy and even less of balance.

So theyr intention definitely aint to make a fully historical accurate game.

Yeah, its arcade game not historically accurated mil-sim.

Again, this game was ment to be historical. And because of that it should be as close to being historical as possible.

Your potition is still like:

I dont see you asking to nerf other weapons due to historical accuracy, just german ones.
Exception being the m2.

Its quite clear that its going to stay quite god damn far from the historical accuracy.
If it was the Idea, it would have been from the start more historically accurated.
That how ever doesnt intrest players.

It is in no way historicly accurate. It is a game in a historical setting.

I want to limit 3 weapons from all 3 factions. So yeah, just german ones.

Scroll up and you find your own post about the LMG suggestion thread. So your “beef” isnt exactly only with the 3 guns mentioned in this thread, rather with all LMG’s.
And the faction this affect the most is Germany.
I havent seen you post a single alternative for asked nerfs so yeah.

Give germany other good weapons that aren’t MGs, solved.

And what would they be ? ROF is currently the most important factor on automatic guns.
Stg44 ? So you would be fine with Stg44 that has 1200 rof ? Or are we nerfing the other guns that have high rof ?

Ur “solution” doesnt seem to fix anything. But while we’re at it, if the automatics bothers you Just imagine them being bolt-action rifles. Solved.

No, ttk is the most important. And Stg has quite good ttk especially mig range when compared to SMGs.

But you know that current MG42 doesn’t have even 1000 rpm?

I just want to make MG play like MGs, not like assault rifles.

What bothers me is:

  • ertire weapon class that doesn’t make sence in it’s current state
  • 3 weapons that make soldier class system useless and completelly ignore historical facts

No wonder your so against the LMG’s if your thinking the Bolt-action is good weapon due to best TTK in OHK setting.

Fine, stg44 with 1000 rof I can live with that.

Balance

FG due to ammo limitation definitely wont replace the assaulters SMG in current setting.
FG in LMG for obvious reasons is rather poor choice in current settings.
What it does is give option for regular troopers to fight in CQC rather than braid pubic hairs at the edge of map with bolt-action.
Sounds balanced for me.

I play mainly with LMG kiddo. And I can tell from experience that they are too good.

Rether idiotysm. MG are ment to be used as MGs and assault rifles are ment to be used as assault rifles. So why should we have MG used like assault rifles?

I sugested making it gunner weapon.

After making MGs MGs it will be good choise.

For CQC there is a thing called assaulter class.
If you take other class to fight in CQC and expect to stand a chance against assaulter, you are an idiot or a pro.

SMG limit range to 30m (due to small maps) cant shoot beyond that
LMG cant move while shooting.
Bolt-actions doesnt deal damage under 50m

Damn ur game sounds extremely fun !

And the trooper with FG aint better than the assaulter, he just haves fighting chance.
As you probably knew theres the cooldown on certain squads. If not, now you know.
