Its kinda of a rant i guess. I despise the aimbot ai in this game and the fact that trees/bushes do not hinder their terminator mode. Had to go back into replays just to check if the players are botting but its just the ai.
Like, i consider myself an above average player who can easily beat other players. But the bots, they wipe the floor with me. I wish they brought back the previous ai.

Cause they can shoot trough foliage and grass DF should remove their behaviour to systematically go prone after earing a shot … its just disgusting
I think the current AI is way better than it used to be. I don’t have issues dealing with it. It is wonky that it shoots through foliage like this, but the deadliness and engagement range are fine if you ask me. They still react slow.
Man dunno what ai you are playing against. The bots i go against end me before my boots even touch the ground if i dare to jump out of a window anywhere in their sight.
Its a monkeys paw thing i guess, i wished for ai that would follow your orders and if you told it to wait inside a building it would actually do that instead of running outside and waiting outside of it.
I got what i wished for and now the ai is so good its just terminators everywhere.
The order system and the consistency are both terrible aspects, I agree there. My pet peeve is how some points will not allow you to order your troops over there, creates some extremely annoying situations. But I honestly haven’t really felt the terminator effect. It’s harder to take out a whole squad of bots now that they have range, but… Doesn’t feel huge to me
