IMPROVE PREMIUM CONTENT!
Currently most premium content is just straight ass. Why on earth should I spend $45 (CAD) on 4 soldiers with a mediocre (at best) gun when I can build a 100x better squad through TT?
For this example I will use the 206th Engineer Battalion as the base.
(NOTE: I apologize for any errors during this post, I don’t own this squad, but I have tested it before)
It comes with 4 engineers with a non-changeable weapon. The TT engi squad can have 6 engis, or 4 engis and 2 other dudes. So why the hell would I want the M28? Even with the ability to add an extra AT gunner, it is still worse than the TT version. The big issue with prem squads is their lack of anything that makes them unique (aside from the weapon). As of right now, the devs are basically discouraging people from buying the premium squads.
How to fix:
ALL prem squads should come with as many (if not more) soldiers than the TT version.
For example: The M28 Mosin should come with 6 engis and one AT gunner. All soldiers would come with the M28 and would be non changeable. This would be slightly better than the TT version (debatable) but not too OP as one extra soldier isn’t going to hurt the game in any way. This also makes the squad unique as you can’t make a 7 man engi squad through the TT.
They should also allow you to swap premium weapons amongst other premium soldiers. Premium soldiers have a little star on their icon so you could easily see who is and isn’t premium. Since the devs seem to be against letting us put premium weapons on other soldiers, they should at least let us put them on other premium soldiers. for example, I wouldn’t be able to put the Gerat 03 on a normal soldier that i bought with silver, but I could swap it with my mosin M28 in that squad.
So what do we have now?
We have a 7 man engi squad with 6 engis and one AT gunner, with some weapons swapped between the player’s other owned premium squads. This makes premium squads more desirable, as they are more flexible and are more unique and provide some sort of advantage over TT squads without being OP. I don’t support pay-to-win content, but I believe that this is a fair way to buff premium content.

well, their objective isnt to sell it to every player, i see whales on reddit who drop 50 dollars on the premium m50 reising squad just because they like collecting virtual little soldiers, thats who darkflow sells their premiums to, not the average dude coming home from work and booting up his xbox to relax

they can add a elite version of the battle pass like WOT console that includes more 5 star troops skins and weapons with even repeatable loot boxes but with the elite+ version of the battle pass you dont get gold back.
another way to make money would be a better voting system for maps where you can have more votes and actually ban maps and game modes you dont like while the regular voting system would just be how it is now.
even more slots for squads increasing from a max of 11 to 15 like other people had suggested and even top priority for planes and tanks with shorter timers at the start by like 5-10 seconds compared to the regular wait time at the start
being able to swap weapons would be great but some squads are added just for their guns and clothing they have so you’ll basically be buying 4 $40 guns just to switch it over to another squad which seems pointless but people that likes to make historical setups can have fun with it and adding the same amount of troops compared to TT should be a normal thing but having more than TT would make it p2w( my opinion ). So instead of that premium squads should just come with more supplies in everything compared to TT like extra ammo and building supplies so people wouldnt need to waste a slot on ammo pouches and perk points
I don’t think they should come with more troops than their tech tree counterparts. They should however come with the same number of troops as their tech tree counterparts and you should be able to place as many specialists in the squads as you would be able to with a normal tech tree squad. So if I have a premium 9 man rifle squad I should be able to place 3 specialists inside the squad.

I just want actual premium Volksturm squad with 12-15 guys that will always spawn with random classes and most random loadouts. Weapons would be of any BR 1-5 anything that they have inside their stock can and will be used. Ofc weapon upgrade level will also be randomized with 5 star being at 40% chance. And 60% of gun being worse than anything you could find on the battlefield.

If the Devs made their premiums reasonably priced, like around $20.00 full price, I would actually buy them even with their flaws. But $50.00 + on a squad just isn’t good enough. Most don’t even add new mechanics, like other game’s DLCs that add a whole lot more and still cost a lot less.

I’m not suggesting that, I’m just pointing out other game’s DLCs / premiums have more to offer, at less than half the price. But of course the all-knowing Snail God will decide what to lock behind a paywall.

All premium comtent, by definition is a “game feature” by saying you don’t want that, you are basically saying that you don’t want premium content at all.
I agree on the premium squads coming with at least the same amount of troops as the TT squads, however, in addition all premium squads should come with fully changeable weapons loadouts. The players support Gaijin by paying for these squads, so we should at least have some customizable options for the squads we paid for.

That’s the reason i bought it… i feel premiums are more so for the collector and or player interested in what i mentioned above considering thompson usmc squad is pretty much worse than m1a1 now but they are marine raiders which is neat
You can buy a lot of new video games cheaper then what they want for a single squad in a lot of cases, which is another reason I think we should have the right to change weapons to be able to use these squads in more then one DF allotted level .

Yeah, but I want sale price as full price, so then sale price is actually a sale price.
So much writing to repeat the same thing, the way to make it profitable or more attractive is simple, an extra cash bonus for killing with it and an extra for killing with the premium squad and premium account, that simple.
With this game, you will never get this. The bundles they do now are the best I’ve seen in years
