Camping in greyzone is definitely an issue. However, not everything in the game is good for a frontline fight.
I’d like to see the sides of the maps be expanded a bit. This way, tanks, snipers, MGs, mortars, etc can make use of their range without sitting in the greyzones. Meanwhile, they can still be countered as they are now in neutral territory. This also opens up the options for rally points that are a bit more difficult to find, and some more interesting terrain to fight in on some maps.
(I know this won’t work for ALL maps in all campaigns, but there are definitely quite a few that could benefit.)

In general the maps need to increase in playable area but also we don’t want too big of a map for too little players.

the “greyzone camping” is a problem born of the small maps
you have up 180 soldiers fighting for a objective only about 20 squared metered and the playable area is only about 350 metered squared but about 100 of that is behind the teams that spawn so that will never get used
and your in a tank with long range weapons and enhached zoom on the gun, what are you going to do drive out of the grey zone so you can see the pores of the other team
and snipers camp for the distance
