As the title says,
it would be awesome to increase the limit of active fighterplanes 
It is sometimes frustrating if there is an active fighterplane, but you really want to join an intense air fight…
How would it be if we had 3 active fighterplanes? Air to air combat would be way more intense and infantry combat skies would look so cinematic… 
(a small reminder, fighter planes are the small ones with machineguns, not the massive explosion spamming bombers)

This wouldn’t work. Teams are 10 vs 10… usually both tanks are in play, and oftentimes, both plane slots.
Which leaves 6 players on ground cap duty. 3 figthers would deduct another 2, leaving only 4 squads of men on the ground…
It would be GREAT IF, and only if, matchs were 20 vs 20 or at least 15 vs 15 (with bigger playing field) however.
Aside from concerns about this detracting from the main battle on the ground, it shouldn’t be forgotten that there are many fighters with a capable payload.

Problem with this is some planes like the Bf-109 have bombs and being used as another CAS like in Berlin. Even worse with fighters that actually have rockets like P-38.
Agreed, it’s a huge loss for the team when you lose even one player controlled squad because he wants to CAS for the rest of the round.
I always think that the map details and countdown music of the World of Tanks (WOT) are very good. For example, during the countdown, the artillery between the two sides covered the ground and washed the ground, the AI fighter plane chase over the Berlin map, the AI bomber group (dozens of planes) dropped bombs, the anti-aircraft guns on the ground responded and shot down, the scorched earth on the studzianki map and the huge smoke caused by the fire in the distance, the fierce air battle over the old version of Prokhorovka, I like the content that can increase the war atmosphere very much.
