Increase the damage radius of anti tank weapons to infantry

In today’s update, the damage value of anti tank weapons to infantry has been added, but I think the damage range to infantry should also be slightly increased

For splash damage you have grenade launchers that AT soldiers can also equipp.

The point of the change was to make it so direct hits will actually kill people, if you want a larger radius use grenade launchers

Yes, in wich world Panzerfaust would have a blast radius its kind of a heatshell it dont even explodes

interesting you telling me i can now kill people with my bazooka? nice im gonna start doing that from now on

Well, it’s still going to be pretty ineffective and you’ll be wasting your special weapon ammo that way.
Definitely not worthy.

It’s more of last resort thing, when there’s no time to switch weapons.

How do you even think a HEAT warhead works?
If nothing explodes something has gone horriblely wrong.
The panzerfaust is still a High Explosive Anti Tank (HEAT) warhead so it does explode. The video just does not use a live warhead.

Yeah, they have inert warheads, otherwise ATF would eat them alive and shoot their dog, but still, HEATs don’t have much radius, because they would be bad at the AT part of their job. When they detonate, the majority of the blast is directed in a singular, narrow direction. So it’s more of a “fuck that guy and everyone behind him” kinda weapon.

to be honest
This update will only kill you if you shoot from next to a window
Other than that there is no use

The only ones who can achieve this may be the Japanese paratroopers
Type 5’s range damage is higher than others
And paratroopers can get double the ammunition
Not bad as a close range weapon

It literally directs its explosive blast into a small jet of molten metal that burns through the target, that’s how HEAT works.

If HEAT would be effective against infantry, explain why RPG 7 has both HEAT and anti infantry shrapnel rounds?

If HEAT wasnt effective then why did it replace ordinardy HE rounds for a long time on tanks?
Back to your question because a specialised rounds can be modified for improved fragmentation effect for example. This means in no way that the old projectiles are harmless but the new specialised just that bit better for that role.

The pzf 60 has a warhead of 1,6 kg of explosives which only get “shaped” by how it is placed on the warhead. There is no such thing as a directional explosive.

The explosive on the inside will shape the projectile while the outer layer would still escape outwards as that would be the parth of least resisstance.

Technically the jet is not even molten but is formed while still solid. But that is not important atm.
