I just played with friend and tbh we could have played in separate lobbies.
I did my stuff, he did his stuff and except one incident when I was covering his tank we haven’t even saw each other.
I was actually happy when we stopped playing as we could finally interact a bit and talk.
Discord, is probably your best bet
Given how toxi the game can be some times idk that I would want to hear Voices in game, like you can in a game like Squad.

Enlisted suffer from individualism which I think it’s great for access ability and lone players my self, but when playing with other people there isn’t much to do beside play the same match, and see each other for split seconds before either die, or go somewhere else.
Those few times that I play with someone in discord, I get to boss around my friends. ( which sounds bad ) due to being a veteran and answer their questions. they are decents newbies ( they don’t play much, but they can reach 2n and third places each time ) so here’s that. but I don’t really know how much can it be for them.
All we do is communicate of what to do, where to attack, spot potential threats to the match, and that’s probably it. There isn’t much coop. But to be fair, I don’t know how it could be implemented a co-op system. That would work in lone fighter mode. But not everyone plays that either.
Which for some is ok, the way I play with some friends, but others are not.
They prefer h&g than enlisted. ( which it’s idiocy for me. But somewhat true. Gameplay is different and I guess have more cooperation, stealing tanks together, etc. )
Does voicechat even working ? I have gaming headphone with mic yet nobody was talking to each other in any match i remember
Voice chat works only if you are groupped with friends (when you invite them) and only your group can hear it.
Well, that’s a you and your friend communication problem, when I play with my friends we get to pass information to each other, correct indirect fire, cover vehicles, etc.
On a easy match that’s not necessary but is good to get some experience on team play for when we get hard matches, there was one today on Beloe Lake against a basically full marshall German team that if we didn’t communicated we would be fucked, beyond the basic “they’re coming from there” we would take turns building rally points as the other team was competent on hunting those, there was a time where I was correcting fire from our tank into the point as the enemy team had breakthrough our defenses and he hadn’t direct visibility (trees and bushes in the way).
One match we played Birch Groove, we closed completely all the options of the enemy to advance as we had a well positioned tank (but on a vulnerable position) while I covered his weak side with a DT-29 and my other friend covered the remaining flank with a sniper team, the enemy never got a foot into the objective.
Also as we are all f2p we have to match what vehicles we get into battle, not everyone has tank also not everyone has planes.
Even though we did have some communication in game, that doesn’t mean the game is perfect in this regard.
It is undeniable that this game is still not perfect, and there are shortcomings in communication. I have seen many novice anchors bring their friends to live broadcast this game. They are just telling themselves what they have encountered. Due to various reasons, on the map On the weapons and equipment, it is difficult for them to form a tactical cooperation, and everyone is only in the same position and is restricted by the gray area and shoots normally.
As a player, what I want to see is some quick identifiers to assist players in communication. For example, I need to attack from this side, this side needs fire suppression, and this side requests smoke bombs, instead of each player being himself thing.
I don’t think so as this problem exists only inEnlisted, not any other game.
Hell, we comunicate more when we play factorio.
