Just like the title suggests, I believe that the auto gewehr 43 should have 120 ammo instead of it’s 90. Why? Well when comparing it to the other guns that uses the stg mag, all of them have 120, not 90, and I feel like it’s an injust thing.

You’d have to make it into an assault rifle first, which it is supposed to be.
And put it at BR3 where it belongs with mkb42/stg45/horn stg

I understand, but I’m not so sure it should be an assault rifle, cause it would probably be the best assault rifle for germany.
I wouldn’t complain if it’s moved to br 3, but truth be told it would probably dominate.
Noting new for the Soviets. They have been already dominating Germany daily for years with overpowered PPSh-41 box, 2x paratrooper squads, Yak-9k, KV-1 and PPD-1944 that has 71 rounds at br3. It would be a small equalized for at least half of those.

so they have more total ammo by default
G43 kurz is a semi auto, and even then it’s an outlier, since full auto rifles tend to have 60 total ammo, while it has 90

What about the VG 1-5, it’s a semi-auto rifle and has 120 rounds, not 90.

But what about the M2 carbine?
That is an SF rifle and it has 120 ammo total by default.
It has significantly lower dmg, G43k, has 10 dmg.
I think it’s current ammo reserve is reasonable. But I wouldn’t really mind if it’s going to get ammo reserve of classic AR. It’s still pretty limited weapon, not TT weapon you can have in unlimited numbers.
That 1.3 damage difference?
I wouldn’t call that massive since you would need to fire at a target very far away to make significant difference because M2 Carbine has high damage.
No one said that it isn’t, though it is firing intermediate cartridges and almost all weapons that fire those have 120 rounds of ammo.
Not to also mention it has by default without any upgrades a rate of fire per minute of 750, where the auto gewehr 43 has 550.
Neither did I accuse anyone of saying that. I just said my opinion.

Potential G43K damage
Per one magazine: 303
Total (default) ammo: 909
If total ammo was raised to 120: 1212
Potential M2C damage
Per one magazine: 264
Total (default) ammo: 1056
Nevermind, seems like its actually more balanced with less ammo.
I guess we are just stingy that we lost burst fire mode (while no other gun was corrected…)
