that feature doesnt affect the gun that much. you can see through it when firing full auto cause it gives more clear frames than blocked.
It does affect the weapon. Especially if you want to nerf it to similar stats of its counterparts. Making it obsolete to them.

Counter part of all is still FG42-2
A small increase damage Federov will not change anything.

I mean they could nerf both a bit and move them to BR4, same goes for other weapons like first FG, PPSH, Kiraly
They are effective at BR5, but other weapons are simply better, so if they would perform “bad” enough for BR4, there would at least be a reason to bring them, well… supposed they fix BR3 being ±2
Fedorov are the best gun and you complaint is bad. Stop complain about that and instead complain about american who have the worst assault riffle.

M2 carbine is a SF rifle actually, if you look at its stats it becomes clear as day:
rifleman amount of ammo
dispersion similar to AVT and FG42
US and Japan has no actual AR.

What do you mean by that? M2 has amount of ammo like AR/assaulter weapon. Not like FG or AVT.

it has more ammo than FG42, AVT, Type hei auto because its intermediate round.

Eh… Very iffy on this. I mean, I love the Fedorov as it is. But let’s not pass up on improving it more.

Type Hei automatic rifle use the same ammo as Fedorov and does about 10 % more damage.
Fed has more dmg and better accuracy.
What else does it need? Only real advantage of ASS44 is the bayonet and five more rounds.

but its an SF rifle like FG42 or AVT and has only 60 ammo because of that.
as far as i know the original fedorov used japanese Arisaka rounds
So yeah fedorov aught to have at least lower damage dropoff
