Increase all assault rifle and thompson ammo totals to 150

The devs standardized the ammunition of assaulter guns to 150 in total. More or less.

Earlier on in the game’s history, when assault rifles and their “counterparts” were introduced, they were “balanced” by having 1 less magazine in reserve. Though, I genuinely don’t see why that should remain the case when LMGs, which were originally capped to 100 rounds of ammunition, have a roughly 150 round limit with 75rd belts and a 200rd limit with 100rd belts to accomodate 1 magazine and their 1st reload.

I don’t see the need to impair the ammunition count of assault rifles and thompsons given that their only advantage over automatic rifles any other class can equip is their ammunition total and aim speed, being the only automatics in high tier that cannot oneshot a soldier by default.

All I ask is that they be standardized to more or less 150 for consistency.

Just agree for thompson but full auto riffle should remain at 60 ammo

I like ammo

The idea of entering a target rich environment with only 2 spare magazines is ridiculous. I’d like to see base ammo and gains from an ammo pouch double for pretty much all weapons expect for high capacity ones. And even those should see a decent increase.

(Engineers can build ammo boxes)

Also with the new MGs please just give every MG in the game 200 ammo. Like the DP-27 gets 47/47 base while the Stinger gets 200/0.

Equip them with a large ammo pouch. The MG 42 comes with 50/50 bullets but with a large ammo pouch they get 50/150 bullets. For the guns you mentioned and ones like this it should be increased.
