The “historical” Rate of Fire on these are 800 Rounds Per Minute
I concur, should be changed to reflect IRL rate of fire.
Where the hell are you getting that number, because according to most records, the ROF of both the Type 1 and Type 2 was between 500-600. In fact, it can be argued that instead of the Type 1s being too slow, the Type 2 could be firing too quickly, as both effectively share the same bolt and thus the same cyclic rate.
You do realize that anyone can go in and edit that right? Furthermore, it cites nothing for where that claim comes from.
Source?
What are the sources of that article you liked here?
If you can read Japanese or know someone who can translate, go read the documentation they have on the trials of these guns. If you don’t have access to that stuff, go check the Forgotten Weapons page on the Type 2 (linked below), as it tells you that the Japanese documentation on the Type 2 says 500-600. Considering the Type 1 and Type 2 are mechanically the same gun, with only changes to ergonomics and feeding, the ROF options should be identical between the two guns.
Thanks, I’m certain I’ll be able to translate this no problem.
It’s in English…
I noticed, I thought you were referring to the link but then realized I’ve misread your post.
