Limit them to paratroops squad and few others units using it could be an answer i guess

it can’t be the best all over .

i would play " suicidal" tactic to counter it.
Arrived at close range ppd will will take back the advantage.
It will work better when bots will be less stupids i guess :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

M38 have 40 rounds.
And for fg42 20 rounds are ok, you still have 12 dmg per bullet.

Or let only regular troopers use it. That’ll make them and their squad more useful. That’ll also stop abusing of german engie squads. Cuz, as I said, they feel much more useful than assaulters.

If i’m alone yes sure but as i said if i come with my whole squad you can’t shoot everyone in the same time and i can switch to the soldier in the best position.
And maybe save 2 or 3 of my men. or not

i was asking a question since from what it reads he wants only assaulters and gunners to be able to equip semi autos which again shouldn’t apply to US because outside of tankers, idk about pilots, and gunners, everyone would have a semi automatic with some having smgs instead

Vg is not bad per say…

But isn’t useful in comparison to other smgs the germans have.

Why switch to vg when the mp35 is already doing good, and has full auto mode. If the weapon was usable by troopers instead of assaulters, then yes, by all mean it would be great. Right now if I need more or less accurate semi auto fire I merely use a g43 equipped trooper, while my 4 assaulters are equipped with smgs for when I enter buildings. There’s no real reason to replace a full auto smg by a semi auto one 🤷

Well. The M1 was issued on tank crews so it would make sense to give M1s to tanks too.

using the m1 when the level after you unlock the garand is not very advantageous for the bronze and silver orders spent if the garand was an end-of-campaign rifle then it would make sense use m1

vg 1-5 should have been given to troopers from the beginning instead of fg42

I know. I just would ike to have more guns for tank crews and pilots (like Drilling for German pilots).

god it annoys me that the luffwaffe drilling can’t be equipped by pilots it even says that in the description

Compared to the FG42 which unlocks one level after it is garbage, and that gun can be deployed by everyone.

I know I’m a few years late to the party, in my opinion the VG 1-5 should go to motarmen, flametroopers, and engineers
