Can we get an official rough estimate how long will it take to make mounting LMGs good? Like 5 or 6 years?

is there still a bug where mounted bipod has worse recoil than standing without mounting when having -40% vertical recoil?

I just use them only in prone, they are pretty okay in this case.

well this is problem of using WT engine. they have to develop everything internally from scratch for infantry.
i would bet if they used unreal engine this game would be more polished than now. simply more things were developed for FPS in unreal and there is much better support when you need help with specific problems.

I think this is less of a problem with bipods and more like a general fix/tweak issue where some map windows don’t work. Or maybe it was because the solider and window height weren’t compatible

I can be very competent with bipods in most cases

From what I see they work well only when I’m prone. Then they are actually good.

But in most cases I don’t want to / can’t go prone so this doesn’t change anything.

yep it’s still there, actually it’s not the recoil since it’s lowered but decereased accuracy with increased dispersion makes your gun spray like water hose all over the screen

in most locations while in prone position you can’t see enemies at all due terrain or grass or rocks or random props so it makes bipods completely useless, there are also a lot of places where you got completely screwed by the elevation so you can’t even aim at the enemies. You need to bipod always on a completely flat terrain but let’s be honest how many maps have environment like that?

That’s not true. When I am usin bipods, I do shoot on distance 50m and more. There’s no need for big elevation or depressiom in such case, using bipods for enemy that are closer than 50m is just pointless. + I am aware that grass would blind me so I’ll find spot where it isn’t. (Which isn’t difficult lol)

MGs are probably my most used weapon class since smgs/assault riffles arent seperated in stats. (not counting vehicles ofc

I really dont mind current state of bipods, but they surely could get better. But everything in enlisted is kinda glitchy and unpolished, bipods are special in this regard.

MGs on a bipod should be as accurate as tank MGs.

however instead MGs on a bipod are basically as accurate as hip fire MP 40s.
and no, I am not even talking about recoil, I am talking about dispersion and bullet spread.

You can not hit targets reliably with most MGs… seriously how difficult can it be to just give MGs a recoil and accuracy multiplier when a bipod is deployed? I am telling you guys, the devs know how to fix this, but they like MGs the way they are right now, its the only explanation
