Improving the MP28

So i think the MP28 is the only sub machine gun i have used so far that I don’t really like it only has a 20 round clip and a really bad recoil pattern. Compared to all the submachine guns in enlisted it just doesn’t really excel at anything.

My suggestion is this drastically reduce the recoil on it set the horizontal to 8 or 7 (perhaps 7 is too low) and the vertical to like 16 or 18 to make it viable to use. Sure the 20 round magazine is a downside but at least have it so it has a positive upside such as lower recoil compared to the rest of the submachine guns that have a larger clip.

Every submachine gun in enlisted should be good and worth while using to matter if its a start submachine gun or a higher level one just please developers make the MP28 better. Its a 9mm submachine gun it shouldn’t kick like mule.

Also Norse knight’s suggestion should be implemented be great if the mp28 has a bayonet

Give it a bayonet. It has a lug for it, would make it a good pike when that little 20 round magazine is out

Poor mp28… it’s overlooked. With it’s average rof, it’s very easy to control, at such it’s a wonderful starter smg. I prefer it to the sten gun, wich sure has higher rof and buller count, but shoots all over the place.

Maybe I got very used to it in Moscow… If something really must be done, they could add a 30 bullets mag to it, (only in Tunisia, not Moscow) and it would be perfect

yes i like the sten too but yea it does shoot all over the shop i really wish they would fix the recoil pattern on it its kind of weird

I’m not sure it’s the recoil pattern wich is at fault for the sten. It’s a VERY cheap weapon, perhaps even more than the grease gun, it’s quality was sub par and only entered mass production because of the immediate and very urgent need… So it makes sense it shoots everywhere. Still very effective in a room though, great rof!

If only the British would of developed a submachine gun alot earlier.

I think they did, with the Lanchester, the mp28 copy (now that thing in game is amazing).

They needed equipment replacement as they lost everything at Dunkirk but the lives of their soldiers, thanks to the sacrifice of the French troops (uneducated twerps only think about white flags). It’s why they needed something en masse to replace their good stuff… And came with the Sten :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: It did the job and… yeah, it did the job and that’s it :stuck_out_tongue:

Kind of funny how the sten is basically a stripped down version of the MP28 i bet the Germans were not happy to find the British destroyed there precious expertly crafted MP28.

The British copied the MP-28 and made the Sten and then in turn the germans copied the Sten and made the MP-3008 :upside_down_face:

They didn’t have sub machine guns in France, they saw their effectiveness there, so after the whole debacle they decided they need an smg so the reverse manufacted the some German Mp 28s the had laying around, purchased a bunch of Thompsons by the US and they didn’t really like the lachester both as a gun and due to it’s cost so since the amry rejected them they gave em to the navy and the army kept running on Thompsons and later adopted Sten which was a cost effective stripped down version of the Lanchester

The Beretta M38 would like a word with that German SMG.

Yes please!!!

Even the premium mp18 on normandy, I like it so much but it’s so bad :frowning:

Poor mp28 and 18…

On the other hand a full maxed Mp35 in berlin feel so amazing. Why can’t mp18 be on the same level :frowning:

You too? I kept it in my lineup! It’s awful (compared to all other Axis smg in Normandy) but… I feel like a troll when I dominate using it… And it’s a nice feeling  it has amazing rof, comparable to the grease gun albeit a tad better and is inaccurate! Love it.
