Improving gameplay

that’s right. Whenever I take AT squad I take it out of sheer desire, not because they are an effective squad. In fact, I consciously reduce my effectiveness in combat, because running back-to-back assaulters is simply boring for me, although i know there are sweats who wouldn’t care.

I never use AT, I always use Engineers and the AT gun. I think I’ve used RU AT, and just ended up sniping infantry with the anti-material rifle lol

Now think about the whole system if it were overhauled in terms of counterplay.

  • Assaulters against an exposed position of infantry win out
  • Engineers can fortify to effectively stop assaulters
  • Tanks can be used to push through fortified positions
  • AT soldiers can be used to eliminate tanks
    • at this point this can come full circle and other squads can play various roles in this.

Point is, if each squad has defined strengths and weaknesses, and no squads are given the sheer versatility to be one-size-fits all capabilities, the gameplay will be significantly more entertaining and balanced, preventing it from stagnating.

I agree. The problem that we face unfortunately is the players that are pretty much exclusively solo, and argue that its not fair that teamwork wins out against disorganized solo players.

Yet there is nothing stopping them from grouping up.

Was WW2 fought with every soldier thinking that it was entirely up to them and they couldn’t work with others? NO!
Teamwork needs to be used, and players should be more incentivized to work TOGETHER to achieve VICTORY rather than every man for themselves, solely focusing on their own gains.

I’d kinda rather five but that is only because my personal play group has five people. Otherwise I like it at four I can play with friends and it won’t make the same mistake of Apex Legends. Our four and five man group splits whenever we want to play Apex and it’s not as fun.

I think EP being limited might help. It’d make your choice of soldiers when upgrading more important and matter. I’ve been denied building rallies before by my only engineer in my assault squad being killed. I think this change would be fair and allow more versatility.

The purpose of the 4-person team is to reduce the probability of death convoys.
Because when more than half of the opponents are team players,
It would be a devastating blow to a single player
This is more difficult to fight than a group of experts without a command

1 makes sense

High-explosive bombs may ricochet

3: Allow more than 4 members per squad.

Considering i saw youtuber with an obv more than 4 stacks i think you can already do it.

I got 3 friends, only 2 of which play Enlisted. Only 1 of which is semi consistent
