Improvements for Enlisted: APCs, Rally Points, XP, and Mission Balance

Hello, Enlisted developers and community!

I would like to share some suggestions to improve the game, especially in the Stalingrad campaign. These ideas come from gameplay experience and observations on what could be adjusted to make matches more balanced and strategic.


1. Better balance between attack and defense in Stalingrad

  • Currently, German teams mostly play on defense, which can make the experience repetitive.
  • Adding more offensive missions for the Germans, representing the early stages of the battle when they were advancing, would add variety.
  • A mix of urban combat (buildings and factories) and open areas (trenches and outskirts) would create a more dynamic experience.

2. APC and mobility improvements

  • APCs, especially the German ones, are too slow, making them easy targets.
  • Often, the only viable APC routes go through roads already covered by enemy tanks.
  • Suggested improvements:
    • Increase APC speed and mobility.
    • Add more protected alternative routes to prevent them from being easily destroyed.

3. Better incentives for tactical gameplay (rally points, APCs, spotting enemies)

  • The game does not properly reward players who build rally points, transport teammates with APCs, or spot enemies.
  • XP rewards for these actions should be increased to encourage more players to use them.
  • If the scoreboard highlighted these contributions better, players would recognize their importance when comparing scores.

4. Assistance XP improvements

  • Currently, assist XP is too low, even when crucial in eliminating or destroying vehicles.
  • Suggestion: Assists should grant half of the XP of a kill/destruction. Example:
    • If a player marks an enemy APC and a plane destroys it (earning 100 XP), the spotter should receive 50 XP.

5. Better tutorials and training modes

  • The game should offer a more useful training system, including:
    • Moving targets in the shooting range to practice aiming and spotting.
    • Advanced battle simulations to teach mechanics like rally points, APC usage, and defensive/offensive strategies.

These improvements would make Enlisted more dynamic and tactical, encouraging strategic play and rewarding players who contribute to the team. I would love to hear what the community and developers think about these ideas!

i feel like more people would build rally points if they were given an engineer squad at the start

giving new players a sniper squad is stupid, its like encouraging them to sit far back and be passive instead of playing with the rest of the team

every new player should be given engineers at the start and informed of their importance
