Commanders - building on our previous reflection updates, we’ve implemented significant enhancements to further elevate visual fidelity.
We have made reflections more clear, reduced the noise and reduced the ghosting while moving. Also, on High Reflection Quality we have improved how out-of-screen information is incorporated with screen space reflections, making reflections much more immersive and realistic.
With only a slight performance cost increase on the High setting, these improvements will provide exceptional boost in realism and detail for users seeking better visuals.
I would say it’s a more-roughness —>>> less-roughness change, not necessarily more realistic - depends on the context of the environment. If the floor inside the room is glistening a lot, it looks like some rain was just falling inside, or it is freshly polished (not very realistic in a battle)
stop doing this and fix other things, like bugs and such,I accept do in future, but not now when for example the t-28 machime guns dont work or ho-ri can survive a tnt pack because it cross almost whole tank because is empty
This is really good but you guys desperately need to work on animations for soldiers, especially in first person.
They are very old and outdated, there are mobile games that have more realistic animations.
The environment always looked good as the engine is very capable and optimized, which is an impressive feat on it’s own, most games look good but run horrible on most hardware making the game unaccessible… but animations always dragged everything down.
The animations drag down the immersion and feel of the game and they should be a priority.
They make the game look cheap and indie. Sorry to say this.
Soldiers around you, your squad, first person hands and weapon handling is something you look at 24/7 and yet it looks the worse. It is inadmissible that in 2025 we still have animations that resemble 2005 era of gaming. It’s one of the first things that stand out when you first play the game.
If you look at these animations from 2016, it’s not even comparable. 2016 …guys… comon.
great, another graphical improvement… I really appreciate the work of the graphics team but… don’t you think that the other devs, in charge of other aspects of the game, should contribute something?
I’m seriously starting to believe that the game’s graphics dev(s) are the only ones who take the game seriously.
Yeah I misread it as somethign to the effect of “Upon reflection” too.
Still look, these are nice changes ofc, I assume its the same ones just introduced into WT. Though I was really hoping for a proper statement at this point considering the shitshow that the removal of GO’s has been.
Originally, I thought that developers will never have the intention of improving the quality of animation and models because it would prevent the game from continuously releasing new weapons (in large quantities than any other games).
My mood is possibly bad due to recent BP changes, but… I don’t like the right side, it’s unrealistic.
Would be perfect for a medieval castle simulator, but if you have no time to remove rubble, you have no time to mop up either. (Three times a day with all the fresh dusty air coming in.)
2/2 patches game textures is a blue bar filled but does not continue to a red button that says play…
what to do? is this a memory problem? A fault? can’t play now.
What an incredible thing, war is the most beautiful form of art in my opinion and I know that the Enlisted game will overcome all challenges until reaching perfection and I will always be contributing to that day coming!
