In the interest of adding more realism and immersion to Enlisted, I suggest that bodies and severed limbs should float in water instead of sinking instantly. In real-life battles, corpses and dismembered limbs often float due to trapped air and gases. Implementing this would enhance the atmosphere, especially in amphibious assaults or river crossings, making the battlefield feel more authentic. It could also have minor gameplay implications, such as bodies providing temporary cover or adding to the visual chaos of intense fights.
For who this suggestion would benifit? Because from the player side we will just get worsth performance and server lag for calculating the position of each limbs getting down a river
Somebody long ago suggested it, but it’s pretty much impossible due to the massive server strain it would cause, currently, ragdolls are computed locally, with only its location and loot stored on the server. For the bodies to provide cover, so it would be fair for everyone, they would have to be computed server side, and with how much of a grinder the game is, the server would have given up the ghost.
