I dont know baout you guys but to me the current system on skill and solider are just so boring. Like pretty much every solider have the similar skills(at least for me. reduce self-medic speed, reduce vertical recoil and +35% health) and most of the time soliders with special classes are just regular solider with something as their secondary.
For me, I think higher tier solider means they have skills/ experience both on battle field and in their expertise. Which means higher tier solider can have more skills for selection.
for example, engineer can have a skill for tier2 or more called field gun expert. with this skill the engineer can build the platform for his at gun, move his at gun faster and can automatically turn the gun in aiming mode when need to.
or skill for tier3 at solider like mastering his at weapon like predict the path of the at weapon or increase the reloading/aiming speed/stability or skills that allows at solider to remember the statistics of enemy armor and always show enemy armor’s possible pen spot with current at weapon when using the at solider.
And lower tier solider can upgrade their tier by training or send to institution to learn to increase their tier.
This also means break the current squad upgrade system and skill?tree. Where for personal it becomes unlock different training for each classes of solider. Like how to upgrade tank improvement in WT. This “training” upgrade is for basic statistics like health, recoil reduction, running speed. And each solider will also have a skill tree that only contain specialized skills that unlock for?choosing depend on level and tier
