really good point actually as apparently, this is an accurate description of the average enlisted player
Yes, it’s sadly my concern. The game itself isn’t difficult to learn, there’s already tutorial practice and all the achievements giving silver (and even 1 gold order)
… But most players are either too lazy, too stupid or too eager to do them and jump in the fray immediately.
Then when they get stomped, they cry about it, request weapons nerfs/restrictions and other matchmaking silliness…
If this were true, I wouldn’t have a youtube channel lol
I’d vote for the last. Too eager.
People want instant gratification or over simplification at times in games. Its what almost killed many long standing old game genres, but luckily some studios still carry those torches, to which I am grateful.
Time and again I watch friends jump into games and jump back out without doing the work.
It took me 200 drops I believe in PubG back in the day, before I won my first. I put in the work.
Same as I did here.
Some guides I think will help. What form they take is another thing all together.
Till then I’ll keep streaming in hopes that what I do helps someone, somewhere.
The harder you get something, the more worthy it gets. Golden rule for competitive games, which is often ruined by guys which behave like infants when they face something they should learn or adapt to. Enlisted also has much of such “aboooosed” boys so I’m bit nervous about fate of this game
Yeah true enough.
I worked hard at 2 campaigns , and failed a lot.
A good percentage was my fault, with some exceptions in Normandy, until I learned how to stop caring about dying and forcing myself into the grey time and again to dig out tanks.
But once I got through that hell, I was better overall once I played in Moscow with my wife, and Tunisia.
Have I complained? Absolutely. But not in the same way as I’ve seen other threads.
Wasni frustrated at times? Yeah. Airfield made no sense to me, mostly because 90% of the team quit once the balloons started popping.
I expressed some on the forum. I played for quite sometime before I even signed up here.
But now , I love Airfield.
I don’t see any purpose of suffering in enlisted. You see balabce hole-you explain it (but not like crymans explain about pz2), if you see your fault-you fix it with practicing, while respawn mechanics and different classes let you try and raise tactics you prefer. What about tenks, I don’t see overcoming here, as enlisted’s conserves are weakest among all infantry games i know and most of time they don’t even show in field of view lel. Even sitting in gray zone doesn’t guarantee conserve won’t pop up without making impact
The spawn in map should let players know they can choose spawn location. I’ve talked 2 friends into playing and neither knew they could pick spawn location.
Also spawn beacons built by players need to flash or blink with message letting players know they can spawn on the beacon. It seems a lot of
players never use the beacons.
In addition let us see map pre match and let us choose spawn in location for match start.
of course it’s true and the fact you have a youtube channel is proof of it - people can’t figure it out for themselves. they need it to be told to them (in this case, by you)
Sorry I might be missing what you are saying here i think on account of how its translating it.
Brush, tutorial doesn’t even explain why you have to build a rally point. It tells you to build one but my initial reaction was, “A radio? Cool but why should I build it when we have those guns, ass and other fun stuff to build” what is funny they teach you to build mg nest there which new player can’t even have because its locked behind grind for engineer ii
i remember when i first started playign being confused why i couldnt put more assaulters into my assault squads
a lot of games(including enlisted) have the issue of explaining gameplay, but not their menus or economy
If I had a suggestion for new players, it’s that they should get a couple of squad choice reset items so they can fix their uninformed choices that they made when upgrading early on. Why I thought a sniper would help the assaulter squad, I’ll never know
As an old player, I also like this suggestion. Even if it can’t bring me anything, it is really important to improve the experience of new players. In other words, players should be given some benefits in the first few battles of each battle, so that they can get “basic equipment” as soon as possible to get rid of hardships. (Here, it refers to 3 full teams and engineers)
