It’s impossible to now have a RNG chance to get helmets for all your guys who are stuck wearing hats, can this be implemented again?

You really think they will let you customize your soldiers for free? Remember, Gaijin has their hands on this game.
You will have to pay for it when they implement customization for all campaigns.

Sad times, but as mentioned above, the Gaijinification has happened, and now from the looks of it every Germany Moscow soldier who randomly gets a stand-out white helmet will have to be changed with tickets and no RNG.

For some reason this is only an axis Moscow problem, and assaulter squad in particular. I can still roll appearance for my normandy and Berlin soldiers, even mg squads in Moscow. Weirdest thing is that not even the gold roll is working now, it only changes the face of an Assaulter, so clearly something is not right

Worst of all, after some updates, even if you’ve done all soldiers with helmets, they turn back to the default random ones again. It has been asked many times, but it has not been fixed. Worst of all, if you used gold to change the look, and they turned back anyway no refund was offered or anything.

I can’t get my Moscow guys or Normandy to change their helmets at all despite many many tries
IMHO this has been deactivated to get ready for the customisation and to squeeze some bucks out of the game. Sad days. I´d spend some bucks to get uniforms and stuff but only if I buy them one time and can use them for all other soldiers. Same goes to decals.

Technically helmets are pay-2-win now if they charge an insane amount for it like they do now. They give a defensive bonus
