Impossible to play! spam of artillery!

Hi, I would like to ask you Gadjin how long these artillery spam from radio operators will continue??? did you even play? Do you at least understand what a whole fight is for the eyes about 20 minutes when the camera is shaking? somewhere two or three players sat down and every 30 seconds they call artillery on the radio!!! and now multiply by 2-3 players and what do you get? will you be able to play then

??? when the whole fight the camera shakes and it is impossible to play at all! what kind of game is this? is it really that difficult to do? Or remove the camera shake at all, I already made it to zero!
do something if you want your game to be played!

Yes, agree! The 30 sec of Artillery spawn is a horrible thing. 1 min - 1 min 20 sec delay at least would be the greatest for sure. Or limited Radio squad can be used in in one match at same time…I dont know…Devs not playing their ow game?? This micro fails screw the joy of the game sometimes…

I agree! I hope they will fix it before the players run away!!! this camera shake ruins the eyes a lot! for this someone can go to court!

You can see where the arty is dropped on your minimap. If you don’t want it to hit you, get outside the indicated red circle, or hide inside a building.

Don’t mistake the lack of your own actions to prevent this from happening with something being overpowered.

The 8x faster upgrade for the Radio Squad is kind of insane. At least for me, it makes that squad a permanent squad in my line up.

The Mortar team is also pretty OP from a protected position. Build some sandbags, some ammo crates, then…

A single radio operator can keep a point permanently under fire. This has nothing to do with lack of action.
The time span between 2 artilery strikes on the same point simply has to be so long that other actions can be carried out.
An ability that can be used to kill others without putting yourself in danger just takes more cooldwon.
It is especially funny when there are several radio squads on the field and only artillery goes down all the time.

No. A single artillery strike lasts about 10-15 seconds. The cooldown is 30 seconds. So you have 15-20 seconds of a time window to get into cover, if you have not already.

Artillery is also randomized. Mortars and plane bombs are a much more certain way of mass murder without putting yourself into harms way.

I myself had suggested to make it so instead of the red circle, the artillery first fires spotting rounds, and if the arty squad marks one of those (aka requiring visual confirmation), the arty would get bonus accuracy. The base accuracy would be lowered for this to work best.

But this topic is not about planes and mortars.
Ok, an artillery strike comes down on you that lasts 15 seconds. You have to get to safety, wait for the blow. Then you need some time until the head shakes, you have to get back into position to defend and … Guess … the next artillery strike is coming.
A radio operator can suppress almost any other combat action in a certain zone and, in my opinion, this disrupts the flow of the game enormously.

If you are inside of a building, you don’t get the shell shock effect.

Artilery is capable of team killing. So just stay inside of cover and shoot into the capture point and the enemy arty will take care of defending the point for you during the times it drops.

I brought up Mortars as most of the time I’m not sure if it’s the Artillery, Mortars, or a combination of both that is killing me.

When playing them, they both seem pretty OP; although, I tend to not live as long with my Radio Squad as I just use them while they live and tag along.

You’re just weak. The artillery could fire for several hours, and your detached child is disturbed by 15 seconds of fire, which rarely kills. The game focuses on realism. don’t like it go back to cs.

Agreed, the incessant artillery spam is beyond frustrating.

What surprises me more than anything that people on the dev team actually green lit this broken mechanic. I love the game and hope to continue to play but this artillery spam is the single driving force that will drive me away.

Please, Gaijin, address this already.
