An event would be much better. Maybe a Gold order before they go 
certainly you have been for almost a month delaying the freaking BP… you know DF? can you just give the premium BP for free to all players and no being stingy is not an excuse literally is best thing you can do at this point since you have ruined almost everything by delaying this fot the 5th time…btw it would be funny to get a letter from you admiting how lazy your team is…

Since you said the BP and the update are ready, this means that the future content ( major update ) should not be delayed even further since the team technically has to wait for the problem with the platform to get fixed
