You can individually delay updates to the platform, as you have done in the past.
Then give them a tiny bit of compensation instead of facing everyone.

Then the playerbase on that said platform will riot cause they get the worse treatment
if only your math wasnt wrong 
. first extension was february 26th. so 2 days in february+ 19 days in march makes it 21 days. you can choose to include first BP season which had 15 days extension, so it is either 21/35 or 36/35.
How unpredictable. Changing the BP format has indeed paid off.

are there any plans on emergency events for such situations? since it seems to players that DF could release a supply drop event anytime.

It seems to me, or is this the most plausible term. Earlier, DF apparently will not be able to cope with such a huge and overwhelming content update.
