Impact damage from tanks rework

They brought back the ability to run over infantry with tanks, and don’t get me wrong that is a good thing. However it could use some refinement.

Speed at which the vehicle is moving as well as the stance that infantry are in, and what side they approach from all need to factor in to this.

Obviously, the faster the vehicle is moving, the more damage it does, regardless of infantry stance. If its barely creeping forward though, it should only push infantry that are standing, not injure them.

If it rolls over infantry that are crouched or prone, it should do significantly more damage.

Lastly, I’ve noticed that I take damage from the sides and even rear of the tank if its creeping forward, making it even more difficult to climb on top to place a TNT charge. Only the direction it is moving should take damage.
(This issue could also be resolved by making TNT mines “stick” better when thrown at a vertical surface. Allowing them to be placed on the sides easier.)

I randomly jumped into normandy yesterday because i had the paratroopers and i wanted to try it out for my 12k, i ran people over and just assumed it was a normandy exclusive feature

I worry that vehicle injury could lead to new teamkill behaviour. Now Molotov cocktail, barbed wires and flamethrowers have been used by some psychopathes to kill teammates. I suggest to remove team damage of vehicle movement, but keeping the damage to enemies.

I would agree, but at the very least that’s one of the reasons I included this:
