Hey there. I’ve been thinking some stuff.
From my own experience, and from what I’ve seen on the forums, the “most annoying gameplay aspects” for almost all players seem to tie in with noninteraction. Dying without the chance to retaliate should not happen as much as it does.
Artillery fix helped the problem a lot, but “those types” of players are now spawning planes and mortar squads. Planes are only countered by more planes, and often stay up whole matches unchallenged. The mortars seem good where they are, due to their limited ammo forcing squads out of hiding. In combination with other cheese though, alternating “plane-sniper-mortar” squads (or something to that effect) lets you play entire matches without leaving spawn.
A great start would be to punish spawncamping. I don’t like it on my team, and I don’t like it on enemy team. It generates boring matches, and it doesn’t win. I don’t know how exactly to do it, maybe some carrot/stick approach with XP gains, or a timed zone effect pushing players onto the battlefield…?
Either way, I believe the game would play a lot better, if more people were incentivized to pursue victory. Currently, it seems normal for about half the playerbase to completely ignore objectives.

I agree on the planes many times not even use them to bomb they crash directly on targets to do as much damage as possible to the defenders, with snipers and mortars there is no problem, since mortars have limited ammunition and also a bolt-action without "scope you are able to snip from a distance it only takes training, spwancamping as you mean it is not in enlisted, every time you spawn from a regular spawn you have 10 sec of invicibility as long as you are in its vicinity, if instead you spawn from a rallypoint you don’t have invincibility (normal) so if enemies surround a rallypoint don’t use it (logical) and to finish the game it is still in beta so for now it focuses only on shooting later the gameplay will offer more to spice up the battles.
What I mean with the snipers, is that on some maps (I’ve mostly played the Moscow campaign), they will often take up position inside their spawn area - Meaning they are basically immune to flanking/rushing, but yes, they can still be counter-sniped.
I didn’t mention snipers specifically because they are OP, in fact I think spawncamping on a sniper is quite bad (which is also why I hate having them on my team).

Oh yeah, spending all battle hiding in your spawn being a useless twat should be prevented for your teammates’ sake.
I molotov them but there needs to be a real mechanic.

it is normal that those who are a good shooter put themselves in a good position the problem here are the cowards wo hide for easy kill for the exp

Yep, pretty much. Snipers can be really good, but not when they’re falling asleep while others fight.

Occasionally when I spawn I’ll post up next to a sniper to clear my path to the objective and I’ll take out 5 or 6 guys before running off while the sniper has only fired 1 or 2 shots.
Unfortunately some players are just completely inept and it’s just less frustrating for them to stay where it’s safe rather than dying every 2 seconds out in the field of battle.
But then how are they supposed to get any better? ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)
My brain does not allow me to accept their perspective as valid, but ye it makes sense… hm
personally I think it is faster to kill from distance with bolt-action than with sniper, with sniper if you are too close to the battlefield you have limited field of view instead with bolt-action it is more open
Real combat is quite long range - nobody goes into suicidal frontal attacks anymore, not since WW1 and 2 lol
And artillery was the biggest killer, I think in both WW1 and 2. Planes were devastating in WW2, and were major reasons for disasters, such as France 40, and Russia 41.
So naturally, they should be OP.
But this is a video game, and these things should be balanced. Current balance is somewhat fine, in my opinion. Experienced bomber simply bomb spawn point locations, which isn’t fair, they shouldn’t know this. Or they bomb routes of approach, from spawn points. Again, pretty lame.
So personally, I am open to balancing this more.
The cheese tactic is Plane, Mortar, Machine gun squad.
Mortars were excellent with the bug nerf that didnt allow reloading.
Arty has largely been resolved.
Maybe an AA Rework could help solve the plane problem. Make the quad 20 like a wirbelwind which it should be like. Give it more ammo.

I really like the long range combat of enlisted - Bullet velocity, ricochet and falloff mechanics are quite good in this game, in my opinion. Feels snappy. Maybe the tracer rounds are a bit much, but I get why they’ve made it that way.
I’m also fine with the planes and bombs being powerful - I suppose my real complaint is how expendable the planes are!.. And low value targets too. The AA guns aren’t exactly amazing either, plus rarely even available.
I don’t think WW2 had any shortage of mounted AA guns… Actually, didn’t they have so many that all sides ended up using them against ground targets as well? I’m pretty sure both the Finns and the Germans did, anyway. 8.8cm shells at 1km/s apparently works for more than just shooting up, who would’ve thunk it?
Glad we are able to do this ingame as well… But that’s about all people use em for.
Yeah, AA guns should get rework, which I’m sure devs will, soon enough. It’s a placeholder for now, it seems.
Tracer rounds yeah, just cause it’s a video game. Tracers are rarely used in real combat, exposes your position
