the update doesnt really effect me but seems unfair to new players… just makes the game easier for veterans. i can just squad wipe new players best they can do is kill one of my bots, atleast with the semi they have a better chance and look foward to something.

You are correct. This nerf is in fact inciting players to spam full auto even more. Keo even confirms it…:

The worst thing about semi-auto guns right now is that they just feel bad. You press the fire button as fast as possible, but nothing is happening, you keep firing slow and this feels like your PC is lagging or something. I’m not against making semi-auto guns a niche thing, but the current way made them just not fun to play.

That gun shooting control, according to your own finger speed, in certain situations, required extremely good skill to tell you were a semi-auto pro. Now everything feels very monotonously standardized, and some weapons just lose their soul.

200 Forum posts per day asking to balance the FG42.
Nerf all Semi Autos but it.
There are not enough edibles in my country to make that logical leap.
As I said in other posts, I’m probably going to Min Max for a bit.
They want me to use FG42s , fine. My Max star ones are going on my troopers with reload skill.
