Gonna have to against the grain for this one, but hear me out.
(This would affect current semi-auto rifles such as the M1 Garand, SVT-38 & 40, Gewher 41 & 43, ZH-29, AVS-36, FG-42, and Gold Order semi-automatic rifles as they do 12.0 base hitpoints. My suggested adjustments would leave the rate of fire faster than it is now but still capped to prevent COD spam firing and macro abusers. I think the Armaguerra Mod. 39 should be exempt as it’s already a weaker rifle and only holds 6 rounds, and it only does 11.3 base hitpoints.)
- For semi-automatic rifles with 12.0 base hitpoints, the new default should be 220RPM. That is in line with the new value assigned to a semi-auto rifle’s ROF upgrade. After that, have the regular ROF upgrade be a little higher at 240 RPM. Leave all of the weaker semi-auto weapons alone. (Obviously the FG-42’s full auto rate of fire wouldn’t be altered)

The changes done to the M1 Carbine need to be reverted. It’s damage output is too low to justify any of the recent changes and the gun has been effectively neutered. Give it a fucking break, please.
-
Revert the horizontal recoil nerf done to the Thompson submachine gun. The M1 Thompson has an obscene amount of visual recoil now.

(Controversial) Change the FG-42 to be an Assault weapon instead of Trooper weapon, considering we can’t go 24 hours on this forum without people complaining about it. Just wanted to throw the suggestion out there…if it never happens then oh well.

(Unrelated to today’s Update) Revert the nerfs done to shotguns many months ago.
