and Have you even used the mod editor or seen how many things are in there If what you say comes to pass that’s a lot of Model they’re gonna have to add into the game

Devs already stated they do not want weapon customizations. You should research information before you post worthless suggestions.

one i play on console so no mode editor, two where did the devs say that , i don’t major or minor in enlisted
Most guns with different attachments are added as different weapons entirely like the extended mag or silenced variants of guns

It took me few secs to find it.
Casuals like you loved the cursed gun customization for WWII but for those who want authentic WWII guns like myself hell no. Maybe some realistic field modifications but not the cursed guns stuff like turning a PPSh into a fake PPS or the obsession with tacticool stuff like red dots in WWII that would make me cringe.

i am not talking about adding a holo site or a scope to a machine gun, real customizations used in combat,
on a side not i don’t want to be a try hard sweaty that memorizes the map and weapon spread of every gun
I actually like the variant system. It adds good material for regular content drops, Events, and even Premiums.

I mean H&G has that, and it was fun till the fricking economy make it not that viable
Nah I love the current system, It makes every gun unique and even variants of the same gun don’t feel the same, with customization there will be an attachment meta where every one gonna use the same attachments on their guns to make the gun have less recoil, faster RPM and so on, that’s why I hated Vanguard the guns maybe were unique but with customization, they all became the same thing.
I come to Enlisted to avoid CoD WW2 and Battlefield 5.
If it becomes like that I’ll need to move on to something else.
The type of weapons customization I would like to see is a single rifle that can equip either of the grenade launchers or a bayonet, instead of three rifles that have to be bought and upgraded separately.
I’d like to be able to change magazine types in submachine guns as well instead of multiple variants of the same gun to keep track of.
what if you only unlocked parts from variants, so it becomes an upgrade for the base weapon, just like you can upgrade soldiers, or maybe exactly the same and add it to soldier upgrades
But why would anyone choose box mag ppsh or ppd over the drum, or box over drum thompson, or 20 over 40 round beretta m38? High capacity guns are(usually cough moscow ussr cough) high tier for a reason
Maybe they prefer a faster reload to higher capacity, or maybe the smaller mags are cheaper. Either way I’d rather have to buy a drum mag than another whole SMG.
there is also customization for looks, a new head shroud, stock or other mods without affecting performance, metal folding stocks look sick
