Wait till tier 3, is like 72? i may be wrong.

i know, for a bit of improvement its not worth it and only I are played.

Well, I don’t know about you, but what happens once you have leveled up all tier I soldiers?
You stop leveling them, you keep the bronze orders, for other campaigns?
While it IS expensive (no doubt about that) I only invest in my tier II or III soldiers, because sooner or later I will upgrade them.
I think especially assault tier III is worth the cost for it’s “standard ability” and also that you do not have to be that lucky to get one that gets 16/16/18 in the end (for +15%sprint, +35% vitallity, +8% reload speed and high chance of only getting downed instead of killed).
But do what ever you want to, just my two cents

Healing speed and more health on healing more optimal then sprinting speed and +35% vitallity.

Sure might be a better combination for your play-style

You say that the II and III classes only replace the old squads, and do not supplement them. These are, by the way, independent combat units that you can take into battle at the same time. Its not like their rank grows only because of their abilities - this is just a nice addition, and sometimes a different style of playing this unit.

my play-style is less respawning.

Mine too … guess we have different ways in achieving this than?

For me the sprint is a must have, so I can quickly flank / change position to attack from different angles. Which to me increases my survivability. Also if I have to cross open fields I am quicker in cover.

The +35% survivability just saved my life so many times … unbelievable. See I always kill enemies once they are downed. If we both shoot each other, I can take a shoot more than you, you are downed, I kill you, no gain from that two skills for you.

But I do not want to argue about that. You can play the game every way you want to, as can I

And dont count possible retakes because you got the wrong perk honk honk

I am not sure if I understand you.

I personally want to max out everything eventually. High tier soldiers do have more perk points. Perk points do alter some attributes by themselves, so by just having the highest possible perk points you do get some benefits. More perk points also means that you might be able to get better perks, as some of them require you to have 16 perk points in one stat.
When they introduce trooper III thought, I will keep some trooper II’s for sure, because of their initial sprint bonus, they are crazy fast with the +15% sprint speed perk.

It is just my observation and my way of playing. No one has to do it, everyone can do as he pleases.

This is not a reason to make their update in 3-4 times more expensive.

i never knew you can teleport or shoot behind walls from miles away.
