The players like it when we get to score as much as we want and even we got stuff we could still keep getting more stuff so what’s the point of stopping us.

basically, an mechanic that arbitrarily limit your progress. in this event case example, the arbitrary time limit of 20K point per 2 days.

Exactly it was good when we had to clear 5K just get past one stage and do as much as we want that was a good event setup.

I see. But in other words, you have two days to complete the task.
Before, I had to play every day and earn 15k or 10k a day, that was harder for me. I have other things to do besides playing games.
With the current rules, it is rather easy for me to play because if I can’t play today, I can still complete the task by earning 20k tomorrow.

to me, it still sucks ass. because i either have to play FUCKTON of rounds in one sitting, or a half-FUCKTON of round every day.
i cope by convincing myself that i don’t really want the reward anyway (i actually really want some of them)
this game have even worse time gate mechanic than some actual greedy AF MOBILE gacha games i’ve had to experience.
edit: i have to admit that i am not a good player that can reliably rack up 5K point per match. getting 2K is already good for me, 3K means that either everyone else in my team is an idiot or some sort of luck magic is happening.
more often than not i only get like, 1K point per match? less sometimes. and that means to do the event i either have to grind out on AFK farm (tunisia?) or play dozens of rounds.

I have no idea what’s wrong with you when you clear 5K multiple times in one sitting I could save myself from worrying about the next three days and then I could attend to family things or medical issues if anything comes up.

in this case of rounds, it’s between half a dozen to "somewhere beyond 20 i lost count) rounds.
you have to understand, a round of enlisted can last up to half an hour, or more if something freaky is happening. on top of the time commitment, there’s also the mental burden of getting shitty team, too fast rounds, and getting shitty but skilled team. it’s honestly exhausting at times to even scrounge up 5K points…

I don’t think you need to play 20 rounds to get 20K, IMO.
well, when you keep getting bad luck roulette and end the game losing at 15 minutes with only 600 scores because fuck your luck on getting a match and fuck your own ineptitude at FPS…

When a family is experiencing medical problems, it’s no time to play games. You should focus on the medical problem and forget about the game.

I know about that But I’m saying the way they set it up it leaves people no room except to either attend to that or just miss whatever they want in the game.
If you play for 15 minutes and play 20 matches in a row where you only get a score of 600, perhaps the problem is not with the event, but with you.
The event is supposed to be enjoyable for people not just for sweat Lords

They saw higher engagement with this new model, they want you to keep playing every day that’s what GAAS games do . Then they can show the stats and chart to the Gaijin, investors and the press how popular and played their game is with the events and in general. So don’t expect for it to change. Obviously they will rationalize that since they added gold order (which should have been there from the start) value of the event is much higher hence the 20k store and no way of skipping that 2 day limitation.

600 is not the cumulative score, it’s per match, and it’s not like out of all 20 match is 600 score or so. nevertheless, there are days when i just feel like "man, screw getting 20K point, 10K is already too much. fuck it, i don’t want the goodies anyway (sometimes i really do tho)! imma go play cookie clicker, stellaris, or DRG instead.
this is definitely the main reason they do it. and since i already metaphorically stomp on my balls playing mobile gacha game, i just cope and pretend i don’t want the unobtainium freemium event prize anyway.
i don’t really have any horse in this shit race tbh, i’m only here because i saw trent acting as if they don’t know what’s being said and explain what time gate is.
