True: ranks aren’t equivalent with skill, BUT it’s a good indicator.
Not only an indicator how many matches you’ve played.
The more time you’ve invested in anything, the better you should be, obviously.
Not so hard to grasp.
Those silver ranks that perform on a high level in this game are either:
By nature skilled gamers
(far more common) veterans that haven’t played in a while, why they having a low rank.
Look at all previous “Even Events” ffs where ppl actually got to play with the same equipment.
Gold ranks did top the scoreboards in 99 % of the battles.
Let’s hope they add more APCs in the future, from some of the things I’ve heard the community say APCs are a dead feature at this point. Same with the rider squads…
I think they should target either BR3 or BR4 and give an APC with a weapon on it, can be something as simple as a 30 cal, Don’t think we have to go as far as 12.7mm But if that’s what’s best for that teir do it. Giving each faction their equivalent to this I think would be good for a tech tree item.
Tell that to the years I’ve played CoD and still have a negative K/D in every single one
So then why judge anyone based on their rank if there’s a half decent possibility it’s a vet? Just because your team has silvers and not as many golds does not mean your team is going to do garbage. Just because your team has a whole lot of golds does not mean they’re going to perform at god tier. All a system like MM by rank will do is encourage people to purposefully desert matches even more than they already do to lower their rank and bully the newbs. At the very least if we are to do ranked MM then create a BRAND NEW ranking system that actually means something and is a testament to your skill, not your attendance. Plus it needs to be hard to cheese so maybe losing isn’t what drops your rank but something else instead. I don’t know. Maybe something to do with playing the objective. Lol
Because vets usually play longer than one match per week, which itself already makes it clear that the person spends more time in Enlisted. People who suck hard at a game, usually do not play it for long. Even if he just played stacked faction of the month, it somewhat shows understanding of the MM etc.
It is not an 100% chance, but I guess it is higher compared to a silver being a vet in the middle or at the end of a season.
I am sure the Ultimate goal of the DEV’s is to get the Enlisted patrons to purchase as many premium squads, BP weapons and as we can, since this is the only way they make money. The longer and harder it is in the tech tree, the more likely people will get impatient and purchase premium items.
yes maybe?, but do you really think after gettinng impatient new playrs gonna buy that stuff … i mean there are many other options rather than enlisted
I think getting people to purchase things is the DEV’s goal, but they need to realize there is a fine line of what people will pay for and what they will not. I have a separate Steam account so I started a second Enlisted account to see what is different now, and many of the guns that I bought off the Battle pass are no longer offered there, however all the premium squads are. I will not play the second account as there is no way I will go through the tech tree again from scratch, and no way I would buy the same premium accounts I already own to help cut corners on the second account. If my girlfriends son wants to use the other account, he is welcome, but he just plays mine from time to time, and I don’t mind as he helps me reach my daily objectives.
