We’ve been having major issues with people that are on our team, going around and breaking down every fortification we put up. (Even when they are good fortifications that aren’t blocking teammates at all.) As well as using tanks to run over and break friendly rally points.
We report them when we can pinpoint who they are.
We’ve asked a few why they do it and the response is that they:
find it funny
believe they will never be punished for it, no matter how much it ruins people’s games.
So my question is if anything is being done about these kind of people?
I had some retard do this today. He was happily destroying my fortifications when an enemy came in and blasted him in the face. Made me pretty sad to kill that enemy, would’ve rather reward him with a beer.
1.Had a real a## on a team a few matches ago who put spike-wire around the the spawner device making team members die when they spawned trying to get out.
2.Guy on are own team was using the flame thrower to hold a door way but kept kill us has well when we tryed to enter had to throw a grande to kill because he had an ammonia refill next to him that he just was eating away are live counter.
I also have had this happen, it is just the most bizarre thing to see someone wasting their time like that at their own detriment. There really needs to be a better way to identify players in this game, since you just have to hope you see the guy die to an enemy to see his name
In this kind of instance I really think they need to put additional options on the command wheel. I can’t imagine people commanding bots to intentionally break down fortifications, so perhaps the default is to instead “USE” the fortifications. Such as using sandbags to mount to.
This would also let you make them focus the direction you want them too!
To break down fortifications, they would need to use the option in the command wheel.
I think in the kill feed there needs to be an indicator. Only for if a teammate is breaking down friendly structures (not if enemies break them). So others can see it and report it as well.
