as much i would really love that.
i’m not sure devs really have time to go through all tanks and make them HD etc
like, the amount of work needed is insane.
and… i’d understand why they most likely would not go through with it.
but never say never i suppose.
Yeah, albeit they indeed look cool. It’s too much to ask given the amount of individual work for dozens of unique vehicles. However, what I pick-up from this video are the crew animations. That’s something I could imagine Enlisted doing. Open top vehicles specially would look very badass watching the crew reloading or cranking the turret.
this would balance out tank battles 100% because you have to find what switch or leaver does what and you will be looking at the other tank realistically. Keen. don’t give up on this enlisted can do it
Another example of a UE demo game that never makes it to a playable and fun state.
It’s funny how all the UE demos always looks so good but the “final” products are so trash.
I don’t see how increasing the gap between casuals and nolifers in totally obscene scale is good for balance and overall health of the game.
Especially in the context of how casual friendly Enlisted currently is.
Well Red Orchestra 2 only had T34 vs Panzer IV, so its actually only modelling two vehicles.
Very cool, and as much as I would love to see it, we have to remember its our devs we are talking about.
Otherwise the ability to turn out as other crew members would be greatly appreciated, like the driver for example.
Gaijin is really passionate about planes but when it comes to tanks they don’t really care to implement such details.
All current (and soon to be added event) open top vehicles are half assed and don’t really have animations for all their components and guns reload without even your soldier loading any of the rounds, and they steer the tank by holding imaginary wheel, gunner at least holding something but not looking through a periscope so it’s also half assed.
Soviet APC doesn’t even have animated MG and shells are glued to the gun like made of Lego and just turn red after a couple of shells (entire gun), are they ashamed of Gaijin’s laziness? Probably i would be too especially since they ask real money for that premium vehicle.
Tbh I’d be more than happy even if they did only one interior per vehicle family (so one Sherman interior for all Shermans no matter the model/version). Sure it’s not ideal but I’d gladly take it over the black void.
well, now that you mention it.
tank view ports kinda work like that.
they are just invisible " mask " that hides the whole tank but the camera is located inside.
i suppose they could recreate the same " space " and hide the tanks so that, you wouldn’t see the outer of the tank, and viceversa when on the outside.
but i’m not sure it’s something really important.
or worth spending times on it.
maybe in the future it’s what i’m saying.
I’ve heard the same thing 5 years ago. Just saying.
well…
don’t look at me.
do you think i enjoy making the same suggestions over and over or point our obv inconsistencies when making things?
or… show how easy other things can even be done in anyone basement with the editor.
Doubt it will ever happen considering that even pilots dont even have anims for pressing a trigger when shooting
red orchestra 2 has one tank for axis and one tank for allies, do you really think darkflow has the budget to do that kind of animation for all of the vehicles in Enlisted?
Because the enlisted fandom would accept every allied take having the m4 interior, every user tank t34:tank ect, sure they could make every tank have its own interior, that and only that for five years. No events no bug fixed no kicking cheaters no battle passes ect.
