If America were to disappear tomorrow

I’d miss bourbon and .45 ACP.

Ya darn know it. Lol

Well, seeing that I own three guns and two use .45 ACP, I agree. Unfortunately now living in the Philippines, my son in Iowa has all my guns since an American possessing guns in the Philippines is frowned upon. :sleepy:

Oof, one of the downsides of being an expat, I suppose.

That’s… One interpretation.

Yeah, it’s much cheaper to live here then in the US, and unlike in the US where if I’m not rich I’m stuck dating women my own age, where as in the Philippines, I’m 60 and my girlfriend is 34. So, it’s worth trading the guns for the retirement and women.

Asia country is so much cheaper than the US tbh that why i feel like i might not visit other country when im older (since my currency isnt that good in English speaking country)

He said America. Not United States. Could be the South as well.

South America doesn’t make bourbon and .45 ACP. They make cartels, fentanyl, and tequila…and whatever other alcoholic drinks they make down there

But what about Argentine wine and hot chicks? Y’all should head to South America (not all countries, though) to shake off those stereotypes. :sunglasses:

I said and whatever other alcohol they made. Lol. And yes we’re all well aware how hot chicks in South America can get

Having lived 58 of my 60 years in the USA, I have visited Russia twice, South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan twice, Canada, Bahamas, Hawaii and the Philippines. But never to Central or South America. Yeah, I know, Hawaii is USA, but it cost almost as much to fly there as it does to fly to other foreign countries. Philippines is my current home, but permanent remains to be seen.

Well, I haven’t been to South America, but I think it would be hard pressed to find any hotter chicks there then here in the Philippines.

I was married ten years to a Filipina I met in 2009, but she passed away in 2021 of Covid. We had plans on retiring in the Philippines (only because I had to promise her that to get her to immigrate to the US). So, after she passed I brought her home to bury her and decided to stay, not so much for the women just because it is so much cheaper to live here then in the US.

Now, I am 60 and have a 34 year old GF, which if I had gone back to the US would either still be single or having to date women my own age, whom to me, all look old. I miss the US, mostly Walmart and self checkout, but will probably stay here as this June will be two years and the Philippines feels like home now. In the US, I am just another 60 year old dude, but here, I am Tom Cruise. You wouldn’t believe how many 19 or 20 year old girls come talk to me, and my GF almost forbids me from leaving the house on my own. . No, I am not stud, but here you only have to be American or just westerner in general.

Cool story, man - you should totally write an autobiography or something!
God bless you with health and enough cash to fund all your adventures.

Just don’t let your soul get old, ya know?

If usa were to disappear? The world would have a healthier eating habit ratio ( :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: )

As a fan of whiskey, it’s been a while I avoid the stuff South and source myself from Scotland  (And now Japan. Surprisingly good whiskey!)
