Ideal change in the br queues

1-2

2-3

4

5

Giving 4 and 5 two separate queues in this format would get 4 out of the awkward position it’s in while it also keeps br5 by itself as there’s still a fairly big gap in performance between the content in br4 and br5

Well I think we should either take everything apart or nothing. The basic problem with the BR4 is bad rifles, if we add 20-round semi-autos to TT and give the Americans better equipment, the BR4 will come to life.(and than nerf svt 40, g43 and zh and move them to br3)

Agree only 2 and 3 should be dynamic. BR5 weapons and vehicles are way too strong to match them with BR4.
They could also limit it to only 2 uptiered players per team at max instead of fully blocking BR5 vs BR4 which could be a fine compromise.

Nah the current system is fine. It’s the equipment in the tech tree that needs to be spread out more evenly so that there isn’t a massive jump from BR 4 to 5.
For example, the MkB 42 to BR 4 would fill that drop off.

I agree with BR 5 but I think each BR should be separate.

In principle BR II to III isnt a big jump, but consider that the Allies are using a Bren gun while the Germans get the 50 round MG34 which is a proper LMG.
Tanks are much harder to kill and most of all BR II you have bolt actions and a couple of weak semi autos. BR III its all semi autos.

I do agree with the suggestion of this thread though BR V really needs to be its own thing. Especially with jets.

BR IV is like BR 2.7 or 3.0 in War Thunder, it doesnt make sense because theres not enough tech.
So either you get downtiered and all the poor souls at the lower BR have to deal with your OP weapons.
Or you get uptiered and any advantage you might have had is gone as you get sealclubbed.

Its a hard one because in my opinion looking across the tech trees BR IV as Ive said really doesnt have much tech, one rifle, maybe a LMG and the Yanks lost their Johnson to BR III anyway (which was the right decision, should never have been BR IV in the first place).

But if we get rid of BR IV entirely, we will have these handful of weapons that are arguably too OP for BR III, yet not good enough or redundant for BR V. (eg why use a Kiraly at BR V when Ive got STGs?)

I think USA you could and probably should get rid of BR IV, Japan should have never went to BR V in the first place.

What does everyone else think? I dont play USSR so I cant comment on them, Germany it really depends on the weapon, USA and Japan Id say reduce it to BR I, II, III and V.

That’s why 4 needs to be its own queue as well as 5

2 and 3 don’t see that big of a gear jump, its biggest gear jumps happen to be between 3 and 4 and 4 to 5

If you want/need anyway to isolate br5 and put br4 in a better place. This is the way to go.

Ideal is ±0 BR MM. Everything else is far from ideal.

Then you’d have people complaining about the playerbase being more divided when you have a system with 5 queues instead of 4. Not that I mind but I thought dividing the playerbase was the thing people were complaining about

For me, the game play is so bad now that I really don’t see a reason we can’t have a 0/0 queue, along with picking our own maps which was promised but never delivered. The player base is going to continue to decline so we’re going to be playing with and against more and more bots anyway.

Every nations gets way better MGs at BR3 but they don’t win matches smgs do. And All nations except Germany are playing with BR3 smgs at BR2 (in power level).

Except German tanks that have same armor as BR2 tanks if not worse when compared to few legacy/premium tanks like Pz3M or PZ3N Stalingrad at BR3. 80mm of hull armor and 50mm of turret armor is just pathetic at BR3. Sherman after getting APCBC shell have become the best tank along with KV-1 they always one shot those crappy Panzers. They should get TT VK 3002 (M) as right now they are way too weak along with Japan.

Winchester is really good and can do fine with it’s fast rof even at BR3

G41 is just a awful semi with ultra long reload speed. So you would be better not using rifleman at all.

Gaijin been doing that for a while with their Battlepass semis that are superior to anything you have at BR3 and punishes Germany even more as they don’t have even a single good usable semi outside of low dmg VG1-5.

Their DT-29 lmg is the same as DP-27 just with few more rounds and a bit lesser recoil (which should be that way from the start).
Their drum smgs would completely overwhelm Germans as they don’t even have a single counter against already overpowered PPS-41 box add drum to that and it’s even worse. They need multiple new additions like Husqvarna smgs to their TT.
Husqvarna m 37
SVT-40 is not different from BR3 SVT-38 so can easily become BR3 like G43 and ZH-29.
Fedorov MG is the most overpowered crap we have in a game (right after RD-44 and M2 Stinger + Super Hei LMG) no way in hell it should be a BR3 weapon, it need to go up in BR5 again after that nasty dmg buff.
Vehicles would be the biggest problem as you would have T-34-85 and Panthers murdering everyone.
