Idea to turn excess XP in finished tech trees into somthing usefull

My idea here is when you finish a tech tree (especially if you played before the merge) you still have to level up your squads and go to the other trees, which takes way too long, and isnt fun 90 percent of the time.and that unused pile of XP sitting there isnt doing anything except going towards the 1 mabey 2 things added to your tree in the next update 5+ weeks from each other.so here is my idea, excess XP can go into either one of 2 things, and it helps limit your suffering.

first route-this route takes your extra XP and converts it into XP boosters, which comverts your tech tree XP and disperse it throughout all XP requiring things like squads and soliders.the excange rate would be something like a 50% booster for 10000 XP (not sure about the excange rate, open for debate).but there is risk in using boosters however,if you play low BR theres the possibilty of T3 downteirers spamming alp that nonsense, playing T3 and upteiring, and playing BR5 but you have to sit in a figher/AA gun most game to stop your team from turning into pulp.just be mindful the average getting gaijined luck when you have a booster carries over from WT somtimes.

route two-the second route for extra XP you have can go directly into another tech tree, and before you start bashing me for trying to skip the grind, let me talk.this transaction would have every one XP in the tree your transferring to be 3 or 4 XP (simply, every 3/4 xp in the finished tree transferres into 1 xp in the new tree).and there will be a system that forces you to play this faction a certain amount in order to transfer XP over to it,and these things combined would ensure that even massive XP stockpiles cant buy the whole tech tree and not actually playing the faction untill everything is bought.it just isnt fun to go through a faction through scratch and be stuck on BR1 gear fighting powerful BR2 and 3 gear constantly, and this would help reduce the pain of having to start a whole new faction from barely anything.

Thanks, I wanted to suggest something similar.

Pre merge it was possible to transfer weapons to a different campaign.
That would come at a price in bronze/silver tickets.
This is now no longer possible post merge.

I would like to suggest something similar, with saved up XP.
Let us transfer saved up XP from one faction to another of our choice.
This would then also come at a price, lets say for example 25%.

This would really help me much, I would play the game more than I do now.
I have finished the USA research tree and have 3.2m XP unused there.
I have about 30% researched in the German tree and want to continue there.
If I can transfer some XP from USA to Germany, it will really help a lot.
Since I cant do it now, I am not very motivated to grind the rest of the German tree.
So transferring XP would be a win win situation for me and for the game.

The whole fun part of this game is the grind. I disagree about allowing people to transfer exp to another faction, that wouldn’t balance out the factions and it would be an issue if they add a new faction.
For example, say they add a French tech tree. People would just buy everything straight away and not bother playing the low BR equipment. Instead they should allow players to convert exp into silver or exchange a significant amount of exp for a gold order.

Yeah that sounds fair.
I was doing wishful thinking with my discount of 25%.
It should probably (if any) be like 75%.
So you can still transfer a little bit, so it wont go to waste, but it wont help you much in the new faction, still need to grind.

But the transfer will let me play the game more and that is what it wants.
It also can revive some factions, make the player base more equally devided.
As in my case, I will continue to play only USA because I dont have much researched in the other factions.
If I can transfer some XP, I will certainly play other factions too.

You have to start a different faction eventually, it’s probably easier if you use event squads from current events to help you grind. My friend who never played the Soviets, now has a full BR 5 lineup consisting of the last 3 event squads. He has the Soviets paratroopers, fedarov engineers and the AT-44 assault squad.

Yep, I am happy to have 5 German event squads, I use them to play Germany and grind the tree.

I agree we should allow the excess research xp used in leveling squads. since the system still uses pre-merger data causes a tier2 at squad get in tier2/3 needs 18k for its first level

so you doing the math, whats the best outcome for my excess of 20 mill combined xp

because an xp booster for 10k is a laugh, also an xp booster isnt needed when everything is done

But you very often dont level all your squads up with often used equipment that needs leveling up.and the exchange rate i put was just a placeholder value really

I’m enjoying the game more, now that I ENDED the grind: I can have fun however I want.

Grind is NOT fun. It’s here for 3 reasons:
1 - better income for the snail. Ppl will buy premium and stuff to bypass that UNPLEASANT part.
2 - make ppl take longer to reach what they truly want, hopefully making them stick to the game. Unnecessary if the game is good.
3 - better income for the snail.
4justbecause - :coin::moneybag::heavy_dollar_sign::money_with_wings::money_mouth_face::euro::dollar::pound::yen::credit_card: for :snail:

I’d prefer this too, thought. Except, snail being the greedy ass it is, will charge players gold for simply allowing such conversion…

well that idea is not bad… like you say, maybe a Number rate change here and there …

Nah I disagree, having something to grind for/a goal, is fun and rewarding when you get to it. My stance on premium for this game is if you play this game regularly, then you should buy premium. The game is free after all.

I’m max rank on every faction and I used to look forward to updates with new levels which would give me something to do. Now I don’t even need to play because I have so much free exp stored I can buy anything that comes out. Only thing that keeps me coming back is events and new premiums.

Exactly.

If one plays only for the grind, then something is wrong. It means that the base game is lacking in dome way.

It’s much funnier NOT having stuff to grind and being to experiment and play at one’s own pace,

In my opinion.
